A great website is designed for the customer and in many respects should be built on a monthly fee, not a stand-alone one time fee. As search engines demand that your content is updated regularly, the on-page and off-page SEO is constantly managed and that the technical issues that can occur at any time are also managed. A website is not a one stage process.

Also, the best websites are designed with the customer in mind and that means profiling your ideal customer, clearly mapping the user journeys around the website and keeping within 3 clicks of anywhere as a maximum. Ensuring your internal linking is on point and also removing your personal opinions from the process and using data and feedback at all stages.

Those that know the website is the heart of your company and it is not an online business card or just built to sit there are worthwhile working with. Those who have little or no interest in properly optimising and growing a website are not ideal clients for us.

I was inspired to start my own business because in my previous employed capacity I was not allowed to move into departments that used technology to deliver change, even though I was often taken out of the day to day to head projects up. I have a knack for seeing how things should work using technology and so I started my own agency allowing me to flourish doing what I do best. The three awards in the past 3 years also go some way to backing up my decision. Now we love helping others succeed as we get a kick out of the success of others.

I would never tell a client to choose BIAS. A client should speak to us and ask enough questions to establish our credentials and credibility to deliver upon what we are being asked. We have worked with the worlds biggest companies as well as smaller more local businesses and we retain a lot of our business. In fact, our partners (as we prefer to call them) stay for years, our longest relationship is four years which is good for an agency of our size. So, as we are all about putting the customer or person at the centre of our partners' strategies, we also ensure we always see our partners as people and not numbers, bank balances or a business name.
