I concur with the previous poster. Avoid BG Scaffolding and owner Bobby Gilpin like the plague. My scaffolding was arranged with them to be taken down ten weeks ago. Its still up. Gilpin won't answer his phone, respond to emails or letters. We are just acting as free storage for them. Unscrupulous operators. More...

This is my second review. This company has still not taken down the scaffolding. This has now been up for 3 weeks longer than it should have been. Bobby, the owner has no respect for his customers. His attitude is, I’ll take it down when I’m ready not when it’s due to be taken down! If you use this company, be prepared to have the scaffold up a lot longer than it should be. Atrocious company. Turned up nearly 2 hours late with a Costa coffee in hand. No apology. Them being late meant my roofers couldn’t start when they planned to. The scaffold has now been up over a week, although it was requested to be taken down the following day of erecting it. Constantly ignoring calls and quite rude when you do get through to them. Thanks to Bobby for taking care of scaffolding at our home in Harlow. We needed scaffolding as we’ve had a new roof installed. I found their whole service from start to finish exceptional.
