What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
A basic concept of what the client is looking for in terms of design, however it's not until I discuss this with a prospective client that the ideas really start to flow (sometime all that is required is a nudge in the right direction)

I set up my own freelance web design business as I have always had a passion for design.
