We had Kian as a private chef for a hen party and we couldn't recommend him enough! The theme was 'Bali' and although this isn't his usual style of food he accommodated us and he nailed it! Kian cooked and served a fabulous four course meal for my friends and I at home. His menu was inspired and sounded delicious and we were not disappointed. .. Kian's food was beautifully presented and was mouthwateringly good... One of my friends was inspired to buy sea bream the following day and attempt to recreate his recipe! We Employed Kian for our Dinner Party for 20 people on Saturday night! We had the MOST delicious, intriguing and beautiful canapés to start, Kian served them to the guests and explained the ingredients and they were truly mouthwateringly good! Everyone loved them! We then had his Pork Belly dish, served on hot plates and again, beautifully presented, and of course, totally delicious! Everyone loved Kian and his sous chef, they were a great addition to the party and fitted in brilliantly. They then also cleaned up such that the kitchen was pristine and left no trace! I would whole-heartedly recommend Kian, I'm sure he could put his hand to any form of private dining event and make it a huge success as ours was! We can't thank you both enough! You were GREAT!!! What’s your signature dish?
Has to be my Whitby crab dish which is lightly seasoned white crab meat, a strong crab bisque using the bones, textures of Granny Smith apple, dill and pickled fennel. It’s a light dish which packs flavour.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
First I engage with my clients to hear about their preferences and what they really like to eat. Then I can paint a picture of what my client really wants and what kind of dining experience their really looking for. I will then use the seasons and my experience to create a bespoke menu that my client is happy with.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked in high end restaurants for over 10 years I now thought it was the right time in my life to bring all my experience to the customers home. I’ve seen a big rise in private dining and I think with my training, experience and attention for detail I have something to offer that is unique and goes beyond your imagination.
Why should our clients choose you?
My offering is unique in a way that my food is what it’s all about for me, my menus are personal to me and my background. You will find flavours and dishes that no other chef is offering. My creative flair, food knowledge and heritage is evident in all of my dishes.
Also I have a wealth of experience working in some of the best restaurants in Yorkshire and abroad which has helped me to become the chef I am today.
