Room is dated but clean and has everything you need. Staff friendly and helpful. Large car park good location. Breakfast is okay food an night in the bar is a bit off putting as bar is click with locals.

On Saturday 9th November after a few months of planning I had my 70th Birthday party at the Westley Hotel, this is the 4th party my husband and I have held there. ||As always we were well looked after during the planning, the hotel have a DJ who they use regularly and they booked him for us, we had a room overnight included in our package - saving us the hassle of packing up at the end of the evening to find a taxi to take us home.||The room is really well laid out and the buffet was exceptionally good. From reception to managers and bar staff we were yet again impressed with the service we received.||Our guests also seemed impressed with the venue, staff and food provided, several of them stayed overnight and it was nice to see them all again at breakfast.||Should we decide to celebrate any more of our landmark birthdays it will very probably be at the Westley Hotel More...

Friendly staff, both in reception and the hotel bar. Room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Always good to have tea/coffee and biscuits available. The only downside was the location as we were staying prior to a flight from Birmingham. it took 25 mins by taxi at a cost of £16, not bad but it would so helpful if the hotel operated an airport shuttle service, even at a charge.All in all we would stay here again. We were surprised to be sleeping in a different building, especially when the weather could have been better. Also my wife is not good with stairs and we ended up being on the top floor 40 steps from the pavement.

I've been going in to the Westley for 2 years I sit at the bar they recently have made changes all good keiron is a perfect host hands on and very welcoming Simon the manager could not be better so good with the customers and staff allona the food and beverage manager is working all honours and making good changes the bar staff are amazing they look after me Lianne Gemma Beth Kirsty Steve is probably the best barman ever I'm fed up of people putting bad reviews it's a great place to go

Yet another seamless check in by the wonderfull reception staff . Stayed here a few times and Dominika and Nancy are very professional and offer all the facilities available on-site and beyond. Nothing is too much trouble and a credit to the management. ||Room was clean and comfortable although I do suggest an upgrade to the tv's as they are a bit dated.||When I arrived at the bar the staff remembered me from my last visit ! My preferred drink was served and they even offered me my favourite table close to the large tv showing all sports you require. ||The food is becoming a bit monotonous however I believe this will be changing soon . Don't get me wrong the food is delicious but need changing more regularly. Back to Beth and Molly who run the bar,they truly are the most welcoming friendly staff you will find. They don't just look after the residents but also appear to have a great report with the locals. Again management take note you have two great members of staff and I would definitely welcome them to my company!||All in all a great experience and if you are staying in Birmingham,Solihull or NEC definitely worth a visit . We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions as it offers long stay parking and is only 30minutes away from the airport by taxi all the staff are very nice and helpful and offer great service, good food in both restaurant and bar couldn't ask for a better place to stay

I had my wedding reception here and it was amazing from the time I got there Friday evening TIL I left on Sunday morning The staff were just fantastic always friendly, helpful And checking we was happy with everything We had a peaky blinders themed wedding and we opted for an afternoon tea instead of a three course meal, I was a little worried there wouldn’t be enough food but I was gob smacked it was all so professionally done everyone was stuffed The staff who served us was just so lovely the evening Buffet blew us away we had opted for hot food as we had already had afternoon tea The quantity of food was enough to feed an army We had chips with bacon, sausages and pulled pork baps and we couldn’t fault any of it. Christine and Simon the wedding organisers were the most amazing friendly people And stayed with us all day making sure it all went smoothly and we was even given a beautiful teapot with doves on as a gift from them I would recommend anyone looking for a function room or wedding reception to go here or even just a meal or a nights stay. A big thank you to all the staff but most of all Christine, Simon and Luke from the bar and restaurant he was just so lovely and helpful but I think he was happy to see us go we had him running around like an headless chicken at breakfast but he worked so hard and always had a smile on his face. This is a decent hotel which is sadly located in a bad area , what makes this hotel so so special is the Staff .||||From Simon ( Ops Manager ) Andy on front desk . ..Luke and James in the restaurant both of whom are absolutely top draw people and so attentive .||Also Bev on the bar , again nothing was too much trouble for this young lady .||||Take it from me the hotel location is not great , but i believe the staff there are possibly some of the best in the country .||||We stay at many hotels throughout the UK , but no staff have came close to the staff at the Westley . This hotel is about 6 miles from Birmingham Airport. We only stayed one night as we were travelling north the next day. I cant recommend it enough as it is one of the best value budget hotels I have ever stayed in! Secure car park, friendly staff, very comfortable bed, and one of the tastiest breakfasts I have ever had served to me at the table. It is excellent!....and it has a bar!!! More...

Stayed two nights at this hotel for a funeral as a solo guest. The staff were wonderful and really helped to make my stay as pleasant as possible, eliminating any gripes I might have over small matters. The shower was excellent.

I like this hotel. The staff are friendly, especially the lady (Kathy?) in the mornings for breakfast. The hotel is a little dated but meets my expectations. It actually reminds me of vising my grandparents place a kid!Very handy for when i visit clients in the Sparkbrook/Sparkhill area rather than staying in the centre and fighting traffic in the morning.Ive probably spent 20 or more nights here in the last 12 months and keep coming back.
