Best western hotel st pierre

My wife and I held our wedding here on 29th July 2017 and we can only describe it as a fantastic day. From first meeting the wedding coordinator Mel and the rest of the staff they have always been extremely welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the lead up to the wedding was straightforward, organised and stress free. On our wedding day almost everything went as planned, the decorations were set out exactly as we wanted, the ceremony was stunning, the food was exceptional and the customer service was top notch. The only issue we have to raise is that as a same sex couple, we really didn't appreciate being called Bride and Groom and Mr and Mrs. Luckily for the hotel however, we were quite understanding and appreciate it's an easy slip of the tongue to make, it was however, our wedding day and so we were a little disappointed. In all honesty though, that is the only complaint we can make. The bridal suite was beautiful, clean and spacious and the breakfast the next morning was very nice.

Overall our review of this hotel is 5* the staff, the food, the rooms and the service were, in our opinion, worthy of a 5 star status. And as a wedding venue, my advice to anyone looking for somewhere to hold their wedding is look no further! We would get married here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Mel and St Pierre staff for a most amazing day �

We held our wedding at the hotel on 19th August and what an amazing day it was,from meeting with Mel for the first time and booking our day we only have one word for her and that is fabulous she's helped us all the way with any questions we had or problems she was there and when it came to our wedding day we couldn't of asked for a better day from start to finish it was perfect all the staff are friendly and know exactly what they are doing. Mel was there the entire day making sure everything ran smoothly. All the guests commented on how nice the wedding breakfast was including me and my husband. The evening reception was fantastic the dj was brilliant even though he played my dad's favourite song which makes him do the full Monty (haha)the evening buffet was lovely and everyone enjoyed the full day so all I have left to say is thankyou to Mel and all the team at the hotel for making our wedding day so special for us. A huge Thank you to Mel and all the staff at St Pierre for making our wedding the most amazing day!

From the start two years ago when I booked my wedding Mel and her team have been so helpful and responsive, replying to all my panicky emails and reassuring me along the way. Mel was accessible throughout the lead up to the wedding and I met with her on a number of occasions to finalise details and talk through what we would like from our special day.

It is so hard to write a concise review of St Pierre as the service we received was simply FAULTLESS!

A lot of my wedding part stayed over the night before and the night of the wedding our rooms were all allocated close together which made getting ready easier and the rates were very competitive. The rooms are a good size and the bridal suite we stayed in on the night of the wedding was gorgeous.

On the actual day I didn’t have to lift a finger Mel had arranged the room exactly how I had imagined and had put all my decorations and little touches together just perfectly. Mel was great in ensuring everything ran smoothly with timings and I never felt that things were not under control. The food was delicious and all of my guests enjoyed their meals, the menu had lots of variety and the service throughout the meal was great. Mel once again was on hand to check that everyone had everything they needed which was much appreciated.

The night event was just as great Mel stayed for the evening as well making sure my cake was cut up, my sweet table was replenished and my guests had the best time! A lot of my family and close friends commented on how friendly the staff were.

I would recommend St Pierre to any future brides! I honestly believe my day wouldn’t have been as special if I didn’t have the support from Mel and her expertise. More...

Went to my close friends wedding here and stayed the night. Everything was wonderful, so much attention to detail and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Would absolutely stay here again and if I ever need a venue I know where I'll come! More...

We had our Christmas Day lunch at the hotel St Pierre. The meal was hot and tasted like home cooked and there was lots of it . The atmosphere was very festive with hats on the table and a box of chocolates to take home . Richard was the perfect host especially in his Christmas suit he was very attentive too. Mel does an amazing job and the hotel made every effort to ensure our day went smoothly. The food was lovely and the service was great. There was a Christmas party night in the smaller room and I was concerned it would hinder our evening reception but it went without a hitch and everyone had an amazing time. Enjoyed a fabulous Christmas Lunch at Hotel St Pierre. Really impressed by all the fresh produce used which was beautifully prepared. Service was excellent and staff personable and efficient. The small touches such as quality crackers, hats and the table gift added to the experience. As the new Mr and Mrs fretwell married at hotel st Pierre, I could not thank all the staff here enough. From day one when visited to speak about a possible wedding, we were convinced after 5 minutes of speaking to Mel, this was the place for us to spend our special day. All way through our planning mel was brilliant. Always listened to our plans before a suggestion of what may make things work a little better, she was always right, a lady who clearly knows her job. Thank you for pointing is in the right direction. The food selections met both our budget and personal choices, all our guests were more than pleased with both the afternoon tea and the evening buffet.
