What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Lots of patience! Especially with newborns, babies and younger children. I never expect a baby to "perform" for me and my sessions are just the right length to allow for capturing their little expressions, posing, feeding, cuddles and nappy changes. My warm and cosy studio helps to create a very calm environment which helps to settle all my tiniest clients.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Your photo session is customised around you and your baby. If there are certain colours you prefer then we work with these as well as a variety of props of your choice. Everything is tailored to meet your needs and what you want to achieve with your images.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating special memories for parents and families. Every baby I photograph is so unique and to be able to capture those tiny details or hilarious expressions is so heart felt and means a lot to me to be able to give that back to my clients, t's something they will cherish forever.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am a mother to a beautiful little boy and he has inspired me every step of the way and really has become the light of my life! Once I started to take photos of his little moments and milestones, I realised how important those memories are to me so when I look back, I know what I've captured are absolutely priceless. I feel so honoured to be able to start this journey of magical memories with each of my clients.

I treat every photo session with the passion it deserves. My clients are usually with me from newborn through to their baby's 1st year (and beyond!) because they know how patient and passionate I am about creating memories for them. I also hold a Diploma in Photography as well as being a qualified professional newborn photographer. I am also a member of BANPAS who strive to ensure newborn safety is adapted and strictly adhered to.
