How long have you been in business?
James has been in the joinery and building trade for over 15 years. BB Building Services (Yorkshire) Limited was set up in 2015.
What guarantee does your work come with?
Our guarantees are dependent on the works and the requirements. Our windows guarantee is set by being an improved installer of FENSA.
What do you love most about your job?
Getting to the end result and seeing the before and after images then sharing these across our social media pages for existing and new customers to see.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When my first child was born I wanted to create something for my family with the hope that when my children are older, they can see what their Dad has created and achieved. My aim is to grow the business to get into the property market.
Why should our clients choose you?
We like to consider ourselves different from other trade companies. We want our customers to feel that they can approach us and trust us. I am pleased to have Kirsty who runs the admin side of the company which frees me up to organise existing jobs, oversee our tradespersons and carry out site visits for estimations.
Property Extension Loft Conversion and Garage Conversion
Currently one of our most enquired about service. The need for more space at home has increased with new ways of working set to last. If working from home is to become normality for you then a home office is a great way of making maximum use of space in the loft or garage. A conversion and/or extension might be needed to create an extra bedroom or extra living space and we are happy to be able to provide this service.

If you need a customised timber or engineered wood item making to fit a specific space in your home, office, shop, school or other business premises or you have an idea for your property, then we have produced many bespoke wood/MDF work for our clients, in particular, built in wardrobes, cupboard, alcove storage cabinets/units, boxing in and storage/shelving areas.
