What kind of accounting services do you provide?
As much or as little as you need! We can be your year-end accountant and get the necessary filings with HMRC and Companies House or we can be as involved throughout the year with as much help as you need with management accounts, bookkeeping, payroll, cash flow forecasts, budgets, pre-year end tax reviews, P11Ds, CIS returns, VAT returns etc.

Yes - cloud accounting software and technology has made this possible. We use the likes of Xero and Quickbooks as well as Dext, Zoom, Loom and Microsoft Teams to keep communication with our clients top priority, wherever you are based in the UK.
Limited company accounts and tax return
A basic requirement that we undertake as accountants but we believe in doing the basics brilliantly. We will prepare the accounts and corporation tax return for your company from your accounting system and ensure that they are filed on time, every time – guaranteed*. Let us take the stress away from your basic compliance!

Personal tax returns
These are made so much easier when they go hand in hand with your accounts. We get to build up the full picture of you and you get the peace of mind that everything has been dealt with on your behalf. We also don’t like any nasty January surprises so will have your tax return completed for you at least a month* prior to your tax bill being due for payment!

Dividend vouchers
We will prepare your dividend vouchers alongside your accounts and personal tax returns in order to keep you compliant with the law as required.
Confirmation statement
We will file your confirmation statement with Companies House on your behalf to ensure that you do not miss any deadlines.
Monthly bookkeeping review
Where we don’t do your bookkeeping ourselves, we will review your system on a monthly basis to ensure that everything looks correct. This helps you to know that you are using accurate numbers to run your business on and also allows us to correct any errors before they become an ongoing problem. It means any queries we may have are current rather than asking what you did 12 months ago to see if you can remember why something has been posted to your system that way! Peace of mind that your accounts are being looked at on a regular basis.
Management accounts and KPI tracking
We will provide you with management accounts at intervals that are meaningful to your business and give you some real insights in to how you are progressing throughout the year.
Of course, those management accounts are not much use to most people if they are just a bunch of numbers of a page. We want you to get as much out of them as possible so will always provide some commentary and KPIs that are useful to you. We usually find that KPIs are a moving target and we will work with you over time to find the ones that guide you and your business most effectively.
Pre-year end tax review
Just as much as no-body likes a nasty surprise in January with their personal tax bill, we also don’t think it’s much fun for anybody to get a shock months after their year end with only a few weeks to find the cash to pay their company tax bill. We will look at your position around 10 months in to your financial year to give you an idea of how much Corporation Tax your company will be liable to pay. This also give us an ideal opportunity to identify any tax planning opportunities before your year-end passes and it’s too late!
Quick query service
If you don’t fancy being on the clock every time you want to speak to us, this one is for you! We provide a quick query service where we will assist you with any queries you have without charging you for every phone call and email. We believe that this can be a real barrier for clients to be able to access advice as and when they need it and by being here for your queries, we can prevent larger problems from happening further down the line. We will of course be open with you and let you know where something doesn’t fall under our quick query service and will discuss with you any additional fees for project work before these are incurred.
VAT return review and submission
We will review your VAT return and file this with HMRC on your behalf using a ‘Making Tax Digital’ (MTD) compliant submission service.
Bookkeeping
This is the big one for some people, time consuming and ultimately not very rewarding for you! Bookkeeping can be an afterthought for many business owners, you are after all busy running your business and dealing with the day to day operations. However, to us, it is the backbone of everything we provide for you. Good bookkeeping in turn leads to accurate numbers, reliable management accounts and a solid foundation for you to make excellent business decisions from. Let us give you back some time to use elsewhere in your business.
Payroll and auto-enrolment
We will provide an online payroll process for you, taking the stress and administrative burden away from you and ensuring that your staff are happily paid at the end of every week or month! We will also ensure that your auto-enrolment compliance duties are dealt with.
