Lou created a mine craft cake for my sons 6th birthday and it was amazing! An edible diamond sword coming out of the top which my son adored. Tasted amazing too!! Thank you will definatly be back! xx More...

Lou made us a beautiful vintage butterfly cake which fitted perfectly with our wedding theme and colour scheme. We had three different flavours of cake (vanilla, chocolate orange and coffee) all of which were exceptional and a lovely cupcake tower which complimented the cake brilliantly. Lou provided extra cupcakes to go along side my wedding cake and they went down a storm...I didn't even get one and I was the bride! ! Beautifully decorated and I heard they tasted fantastic! Lou also did my Baby shower cakes and they melt my heart now to see the picture of them all neatly presented in their box...too good to eat! highly recommended for any occasion xxx More...

The cake we had made for my sons 3rd birthday was nemo cake and it was absolutely fantastic I was over the moon with it and my son loved it! The attention to detail was amazing and it tasted great and lots of people comment on how good it looked and tasted.

I was chuffed to bits with the cupcakes from Bakealous. We wanted cakes for a surprise birthday but live 100 miles away so we had to do everything my email. I sent a few photos of what I would like to Lou and we had one very quick phone conversation discussing flavours, and I left the rest to her. What I picked up on the day were perfect; lemon meringue cupcakes and "99" style lemon cupcakes that were beautifully made and delicious. We had a fairly tricky specification for my daughter's wedding cake, involving gold and a particular shade of pink colouring, but Louise absolutely nailed it! It was perfect in appearance and every layer was absolutely delicious. Due to the generous deep layers, there was plenty to go round and some to take home which we soon polished off. Great bespoke cakes, I have used bakealous 6 times now and each time the cake has tasted great, I have sent bakealous photos of what I wanted the cake to be and they have been absolutely spot on, even for cakes I had a rough idea of what I wanted bakealous came up with a fantastic design on paper that looked even better once it was made, I have recommended bakealous to everyone I know who has mentioned the word cake! I don't even know where to start! Bakealou's cakes are just so yummy!! The photos never do the actual cakes any justice, there is so much detail put into each and every cake. I've had a few cakes from Louise, and i have never been disappointed. The cake sponge is always light and fluffy and always stays so for a few days after - that is if it lasts that long! Just remember to order well ahead of time, Bakealous is very popular and gets booked up early!! More...
