What do you love most about your job?
Understanding how important it is to have someone you can share and work through your goals knowing that it is private and safe environment for my clients and Being part of the positive changes. Supporting people to make changes and holding their hand along the way until they slowly but surely let go and travel by themselves. I feel honoured to be trusted with the most important elements of their life’s and past present and possible future. Ending is an important part of the process as we look at the progression and know I have been a valued part of their growth.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Because the company I worked for had to reduce how much counselling was available to clients due to cut backs and felt that I would start a business offering what I love doing at a reasonable cost.
Why should our clients choose you?
I understand the importance of the relationship between the client and the therapist/counsellor and without that the client will not open up and be honest. Also, my aim is to encourage positive growth each session so that the client remains in counselling for as short as time as possible.
