What kind of accounting services do you provide?
We are an all round Practice, providing Bookkeeping, Accountancy and Tax Services, including Capital Gains and Stamp Duty land Tax submissions. We like to specialise in the Aviation, Transport and Property sectors, but are happy to help in most others too.
We also do Independent Review Reports and accounts preparation for work in the 'Not For Profit sector' as well as being an ATOL reporting Accountant registered with the CAA
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
Your accountant should be your best supporter and cheerleader, and hopefully one of the first people to call when anything happens with your business. This is why we make a point of always being there for our clients, not just at the end of the year.
The pandemic showed just how much we could help our clients , with tax planning and claiming grants etc, as well as with the usual accounting services.
A good accountant doesn't just save you unnecessary tax, but time and stress too.
What do you love most about your job?
I have not always been an accountant, having worked in Industry for a while before, so I know what it is like running your own small business, and now I can help other small businesses to avoid the potholes and bumps in the road, and give them the support they need to have great profitable businesses.
Using my hard earned knowledge to help other people is the best feeling ever.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started out many years ago, as a bookkeeper and a business owner, and went into practice in order to qualify and learn how to help others with their accounting and tax needs when they need me the most. The dream is to have a practice full of like minded people who also work with their clients on a one to one basis and who are happy to talk about all of the issues of the day, as they happen.

The client, accountant relationship should be a strong one, with trust and respect on both sides and when this works well it makes running a business so much easier.

Yes we use a bespoke portal software for the exchange of documents and are happy to work using Zoom, Whatsapp and Microsoft Teams. We currently have clients based up and down the country who we talk to online often, and supply them with all of the services that they need.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
In the event of Lockdown, we immediately went from in person visits, to using Zoom, Microsoft Teams and even Whatsapp. The result is that now we rarely have to see our client in person, but many do like to visit us at Farnborough which has held the strictest social distancing and security procedures throughout.
As mentioned before, we use many types of software for documentation transfer, the best for us is our Oneclick client portal service which is encrypted and GDPR compliant.
Accounts Preparation and filing
We can prepare and file your accounts as well as any related returns.
We can utilise data from most bookkeeping software and assist with any queries and disclosures you might have for your year end submissions.
Company Secretarial Services
We use the latest software to keep up to date with your Companies House submissions and we can file, change and update your businesses information, as well as provide the relevant forms for these changes.
We can also maintain your board minutes and company data as well as registering businesses on your behalf.
Management Accounts
We use the latest Management Reporting Software to create bespoke reports for your business, ensuring that you know how your business is doing and how it is performing against your key performance Indicators.
From the information we provide, you will see where your income is coming from, where your costs are highest and if any changes should be made.
Taxation Services
We can help you to understand what you need to do, or if need be take over the tasks of filing for you. We can ensure you file on time and meet payment deadlines, even if they seem impossible. Remember, there is always time and there is always a way, you just need to ask the question and we’ll find the answer.
We can assist you in Self Assessment, Corporation Tax, VAT , Capital Gains as well as Stamp Duty land Tax.
Payroll Services
We provide Payroll and auto enrolment services for our clients, using cloud based interactive software.
Whatever your size of business, we can help with your payroll, CIS and pensions requirements and queries.
ATOL registered Reporting Accountants
We are registered with ATOL, through the CAA to be able to give an independent review of your ATOL accounts and assist with your filing of your ATOL income with the CAA.
We have a unique relationship the CAA and aviation in particular due to our Director being a keen aviator and enthusiast on all things aviation!
Charities and CASCs
We are registered to assist with claiming Gift Aid for donations, as well as being very experienced in providing Accounting Services and Independent Reviews on charitable Accounts and have done so for many years.
