We have had dogs for over 30 years. Just had a new puppy for the first time in 20 years and At Your Dogs Pace came and did a 1-1 session to give some tips and pointers for training Even if you have had dogs before the insight and techniques provided are amazing. Jennifer arrived fully prepared with tips and material to solve the particular problems I was experiencing with my new dog. She demonstrated the theory behind the information in a clear way and made a list of everything I should do, plus possible activities and products which would help. With bonfire night coming up, she also me gave information how to reduce any trauma of loud bangs and noises.Having followed her advice from the day she came, my dog has now been to the toilet outside, rather than in the kitchen on every occasion and reduced greatly jumping up constantly wanting to play. Jenny has been helping me with my nervous English Springer Spaniel puppy and it is working wonders, her training knowledge is very good and the techniques are simple and easy for me to continue on my own but are highly effective. I would recommend her to anyone.

Jennifer visited us at home yesterday. We found the training very helpful and received lots of good advice, simple techniques that work well which the whole family can follow. Our two boys enjoy the 1:1 interaction and and are already more confident. We are putting the techniques into practice already. Very pleased we booked her visit would definitely recommend. Jennifer came round to assess our Mastiff who has recently become aggressive towards other dogs while on the lead. She also offered some support for our Staffie Cross who was a rescue and suffers from some anxiety. She spent some time with us out walking with both dogs on her first visit. We tried a few techniques, both dogs responded well to these, she then went away and wrote a very detailed report to support our needs. The report included handouts, video clips, classes we could attend and web links to equipment we could use to support the training. We've put a lot of the advice into practice already and have started to see some results. Our Mastiff has shown some improvement around other dogs, and our staffie has started to improve on his recall when off the lead using the same technique. It's a slow process to re-train older dogs but I'm really pleased with the results over the last few weeks. We've also found lots of new ways to keep them occupied at home while we are out.

Jennifer came back today to follow up on the training. Unfortunately we had a bit of a set back and I wasn't able to show the huge progress we have made. She did bring her stooge dog which is great for practicing, it looked very real! I now feel that I understand my dogs behaviour and needs a lot more than I did before. I would recommend Jennifer to anyone who needs support with dog behavioural issues or training. Just make sure you are willing to put in the hard work to get results. I wish I'd known a lot of this before I got my dogs. I'd even recommend seeking training advice for a new puppy or rescue to ensure you start out on the correct path. Jennifer came round to see my new addition to the family Lola a couple of weeks ago, Jen was very professional, giving me lots of advise on the do's and don'ts of a new pup . Having children was one of my main concerns but with all the handouts and advice Jennifer gave me, all my family have taken it on board and it does work, a little more patience is needed with the toilet training but the rest seems to be working. I cant thank Jennifer enough she has helped Lola fit in more comfortable within our household and also made the children be more aware of the fact she is not a toy, I cant wait to take her out on walks. Jennifer visited us tonight as we have recently adopted a 14 week old puppy in addition to our 2 year old lurcher. She spent an hour with us going through all the basic do’s and don’ts for training our new addition.
As soon as she entered our home she interacted wonderfully with the dogs and she left us with lots of handouts and ideas for games to stimulate both of our dogs.

Just finished Jennifer's puppy class with our new dog Dylan. I love the way Jennifer really put there dog first. Great class which I would recommend to any dog owner. Jennifer has been working with us the past few weeks and has been really helpful. Our 6 month old GSD Loki is a bit on the timid side and struggles with a few things including barking when he's nervous and he hates putting on his harness. We have been working together for a few weeks now to work on his anxiety and I must say we're really starting to see an improvement already. Jennifer has given us some really good guidance on how to ensure we are able to encourage good behaviour in our Labrador Jack. We were shown how to perform a number of skills and how to use these in different scenarios. After a few weeks we have seen a real difference in Jack, still a way to go but heading now in the right direction. I have no hesitation in recommending Jennifer. Her love for dogs is so obvious and her chosen career has been fully based on their wellbeing and all aspects of dog training, walking etc. My dog is very nervous but he took to Jennifer from the start and is always really happy and excited to see her.
