Astra Marquees started in 2006 with the intention of setting up a family business that would grow into something we and our customers could all be proud of. We started small, with a few clients, some regular ones but mostly new, one off clients.

What an absolute legend Ray is! He was always on hand to answer any queries I had (and I had a lot, sorry Ray) and remained professional and helpful throughout, making the experience of hiring a marquee very easy. When we arrived at Trevor Hall the marquee was already up, the chairs were out and tablecloths were ready to go. He had also put out all our ceremony chairs round the front of the house. When our bar hire company let us down due to not being able to get a bar I phoned Ray the day before the wedding asking if he could help and he had a bar delivered within the hour. We hired Astra marquees for our outdoor wedding last Friday and Ray was amazing to deal with.
We met up with him to discuss our needs and answer any questions we had.
The marquee got put up a few days prior which was amazing for us setting up our tables and decorations.
It was all to a high standard and looked beautiful with the drapes inside!
100% recommend to anyone and we will definitely use again if we need marquee hire.

My husband and I hired got it covered marquees for our wedding at Church Farm last weekend. Throughout the planning stages Ray was very helpful, quick to respond to my emails, giving us advise and willing to meet when needed to put my mind at ease.
The quality of the marquee was brilliant and once dressed we received so many compliments for they way it looked (see pictures on the Facebook page below).
Also the portable toilets by Blue Loos went down a treat as they were spacious and immaculate!
We would definitely recommend Ray and his team to anyone considering a marquee for any occasion.

We couldn't have been happier with the Marquee, or the process from start to finish.
Ray came out to see the area we wanted covered and was full of suggestions and ideas.
On the day they came to erect the Marquee they worked so hard moving the equipment from front to back of the house.
Once up we couldn't believe how wonderful it all looked, and on the day of the wedding everyone made comment on how great the space had been used.
Not planning on getting married again, however if a big party idea comes along we will definitely be using them again.

Thank you so much to Ray & Astra Marquees for the beautiful marquee set up for our wedding day on 16th June 2018 at Raby Nurseries.
It was perfect and everything ran smoothly with the marquee, catering marquee and the hired tables, chairs and portaloos.
We loved the fact that we could give the marquee our own special touch.
It looked stunning inside and out and I can’t recommend Ray more highly.
I had a million and one questions leading to booking and then the weeks before but nothing was ever too much trouble...
He even ensured last minute lighting for safety purposes and assisted with making the marquee wheelchair friendly alongside finding suitable portaloos for a disabled guest.
Again thank you so much Ray & the team at Astra Marquees for helping us create such a beautiful wedding reception and a day in which we will cherish forever.

We used Astra Marquees for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the result.
We had no idea what we needed but discussed numbers and activities with Ray and he provided the perfect size marquee.
Ray and his team were wonderfully professional throughout the whole process, set-up and took down the marquee at the times they said they would and the marquee itself was in excellent condition. We had a ceilidh and the standard floor they put down was perfect even though we were in a slightly uneven field.
Excellent service throughout we would certainly recommend Astra Marquees for any outdoor events.
