What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I think the most important element of a great photograph is the ability to communicate with the person looking at it. The photograph should be able to tell a story through its composition, lighting, and most importantly its subject matter. I think the subject of the image should have a meaning to the viewer and the emotions they express, the subtle mannerisms that the viewer knows and relates to the subject, is captured in the image.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Are the images that you have seen in my portfolio the kind of images that you want? My candid, photo-journalistic approach is not for everyone and it is important that you hire a photographer that is right for you.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being behind the camera, taking a series of images that when viewed together tell the story of what unfolded on a special event. Capturing the emotions of each moment so that they can be enjoyed again and again. I love meeting new people for each shoot that I have, getting to know my customers so I can better capture the personalities when the shoot is underway.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have enjoyed photography for the majority of my adult life and had always dreamed of being a photographer and doing it for a living. Being responsible for my own business give me a sense of achievement that I never had while working in employment. Following my dream of being a photographer has given me a sense of purpose, responsibility and happiness and after starting my own business i would never look back.

I am an experienced photographer and highly qualified with a B.A Honours Degree in photography. Wedding Photography
Book me for a full day or just the parts of the day that you wish me to capture. I can arrive at your requested location to photograph all the special moments as you prepare for your big day before I head to the ceremony to get some shots of the groom before the arrival of the bride. After the ceremony, have some group photographs then off to the reception where I capture all the fun and laughter all the way up to the cake cutting and first dance.
Newborn Photography
I offer private photography sessions in the comfort of your own home. I photograph newborns in a natural, soft way using as few props as possible as I believe your baby should be the focus of the photographs.
Portrait Photography
My outdoor portrait sessions offer a fun and relaxed setting to capture the candid natural expressions and smiles as you and your family enjoy the outdoors. This could be at your local park, a favourite beauty spot or the familiar surroundings of your own back garden. My outdoor sessions are full of fun, love and laughter. Pet Photography
I offer mobile home studio portraiture and on location photography which enables me to capture memories that you can treasure for a lifetime. I travel to your home, your stables, or your dog's favourite park. An outdoors photo experience can take place practically anywhere from your garden, your dog’s favourite walk, woods, fields or the beach.
