Had an awesome experience working with Shipra. Was always punctual, honest, reliable, approachable and trustworthy. We had a complex development requiring planning permission, however, once we got Shipra on board everything was clearly explained, and speedily and expertly dealt with.
Always willing to take on board our suggestions, whilst advising us of any costly pitfalls. Extremely knowledgeable of the architectural side, experience shone brightly throughout the planning stages, and the design solutions presented were truly awesome.

We engaged with Shipra to work with us on design of our extension to the front and back of our house along with a loft conversion. From start to finish Shipra made us feel confident we had the right person for the job. The paperwork for planning was done for us along with details drawings etc. Once we were granted permission Shipra dealt with building control and our chosen builder to ensure we were in the driving seat. Aroras Practise are a lovely family run business, Shipra worked with us to satisfy all of our hopes on plans for a double storey side extension.
We changed our minds on a few things and Shipra re drew the plans every time to get them exactly right for us. We needed some plans for some internal work done quickly and she got straight to work on them. Nothing was to much to ask for

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Garage conversion is mainly carried out to create an additional habitable room- perhaps a home office/ additional reception room/ guest room etc.
-It would be ideal if the garage can have a window in place of the shutter and one access connection from the house.
-Structural engineer's advice for strengthening of existing foundations
-All utilities- heating/ electrics are extended from the main house.

-It would be ideal if the loft can have a dormer window in place of a skylight.

I prefer to meet and see the site in person.
I can carryout design discussions online and exchange drawings via emails etc but one visit for me is very important so I can understand the existing built environment and create my design accordingly.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
My first site visit is mainly a face to face interview to understand the needs and requirements from the space intended.
The visit is shortly followed by a measure survey which lasts about an hour and from then on I work from my office and interact with the client via phone calls and email.
I submit on remotely/ online on their behalf the planning and building control applications and all discussions are carried out on phones.
