My daughter had been having gcse maths tuition with Arlen up until the Covid -19 shutdowns . Arlen acted swiftly and without fuss and were able to move the sessions on-line . We were concerned how the group would work and my daughter was nervous before the first session , but we are thrilled with the progress so far . She’s enjoying the lessons and is getting on well with the homework set on-line which is tailored to her needs . Very helpful especially with school cancellations to help keep ticking over on old content and embed it whilst also learning new content. I feel this is going to give me a huge advantage over other students my age not gaining this very beneficial resource. I missed nearly a year of school near to my GCSEs due to a surgery, I was extremely behind on work and revision. I joined Arlen to try and catch upon what I missed, I was so grateful for the brilliant results which were due to taking part in their revision courses. I was being taught most of the work for the first time but this wasn't a problem, the teachers were very helpful covering what you specifically needed even in a group setting. I also made some good friends during my time there, it is a comfortable and friendly environment which produces fab results. My daughter has been attending Arlen since Easter for her GCSEs and I only wish we had found them sooner. She loves the sessions and seems to thrive on the small groups and the more detailed support she gets from her tutors, who have an informal and relaxed approach that puts her at ease and increases her confidence. I only wish Arlen could support her for all her GCSE subjects!

My son has been using Arlen all year for 3 subjects. It has helped his confidence and given him a better edge in results. He likes to go there two nights a week, and he has matured a lot in his outlook to what work he needs to do to get good results.
