Avoid this Chef.................. After booking Luis over 2 years ago for my husbands 50th surprise meal (then covid happened) we carried forward the date & decided to celebrate his 52nd birthday with a Bbq. Luis was excellent during the covid restrictions & as it got nearer to the date we emailed a few times. He then contacted me to make sure I still required his services as he had received an other enquiry. I said yes, definitely & he replied it was fine as we had booked him 1st. Then another email asking if there was a Bbq at the house we had rented. I went back to the owners & then forwarded onto him her email. It stated there was a Bbq BUT it was 14 years old. Not catering standards, probably OK for a sausage or 2. I sent this email on to him. He replied saying not to worry he would bring his own. 2 days before he was due to arrive he emailed me again stating he had gone down with Covid & Chef Michael had been brought up to scratch & would be cooking for me, my husband & our guests. He also said that he had looked at the bbq & it was fine & fit for purpose. Jumping forward to the Saturday night. Michael turned up. Looking very professional. He brought all the prepared food into the house & went out to look at the bbq. His face fell. He spent 20 or more minutes trying to light it. He tried to ring Luis but he wasn't answering. He set off at 5.20pm to try to find gas. Service was meant to be at 6pm. He came back half an hour or so later with 4 party bbqs. This is not how I envisaged a £700 bbq to be cooked. I was so upset. I emailed Luis to ask what to do. I am still waiting for his reply. We asked Michael to leave as he couldn't cook for 14 on 4 disposable bbqs & he told us he was sorry. He didn't work for Luis so couldn't help us trying to contact him, Oh & Luis gave Michael our bbq job over 2 weeks beforehand. Funny how he only got covid the night before. Makes you think the other enquiry was more lucrative for him & the reason he didn't answer both our pleas of help was because he was busy working for someone else!! So I feel terribly let down. I had the most horrendous hour not knowing how to feed 14 guests. Luckily a local pub stepped up to the mark. But so rude of Aqua Silva for no contact, no apology, & no deposit refund. I would say be very careful because I feel if something better comes along you will be dumped too. Whilst we were seated in the pub a lady rang, I didn't get her name. She said Michael could change the bbq into a 3 course meal for us, he could go back to Harrogate to their butchers & collect steaks if required. It was already after 7pm when she rang. We were meant to have eaten at 6pm so already an hour late by then. She offered no apology either or explanation as to why Luis hadn't ring himself. SO RUDE More...

I honestly can not praise him enough, when he arrived I told the family to give him space and leave him alone but he told us to stay and be part of the cooking experience and I’m so glad we did as the kids were totally amazed and even ate salad and he taught us all how to chop like a chef and the kids did too. Fantastic private dining meal with chef Michael this weekend for my mums 70th.
Catered for a small group at my home, such a delicious menu to choose from.
The fillet of beef was amazing!
Allergies all catered for
Communication throughout was great and Michael was a great guest to take over our kitchen for the night, would highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future.
I would say the value was also really good, the quality of the food was excellent.

I booked Luis and his team to cook dinner for us for my sisters hen party in Harrogate. We had a two course meal with appetisers, which worked out at great value for the quality and experience. We had hired a large house (Acorn Lodge) for us all to stay in, so it was unclear the exact facilities/crockery beforehand, but Luis could not have been more accomodating in sorting anything missing and ensuring our dinner was of the highest standard. We had Luis cater for our 8 person hen-do and safe to say it was an incredible experience! He arrived in good time and worked around us/ found his own way around the kitchen - meaning we could all get on with getting ready / our evening etc. The food was incredible and every plate was licked clean! 5* Thank you so much Luis for a fabulous feast last Thursday evening. Each plate looked mouth-wateringly delicious and the flavours were so fresh and wholesome. It was very interesting to listen to your recommendations and knowledge and I really enjoyed sampling the little spoons as you were cooking… Had I not been entertaining and arranging the dining room, I would have loved to watch you prepare the whole meal, with a glass of wine in my hand; certainly next time! I booked chef Luis for my husbands 30th, which was on New Year’s Eve. His customer service was impeccable to firstly offer me a reasonable price for such a busy day, and was so helpful in creating a sublime menu that catered to a party with specific dietary requirements.

From start to finish Luis a from Aqua Silver catering was amazing ! We were lucky enough to secure him at late notice to celebrate my daughter’s 21st whilst in partial lockdown. He contacted me straight away to discuss my enquiry and liased closely with both myself and Grace to ensure all catering needs were met. On the evening he arrived with Pippa who was just delightful. Canapés were delicious, starters a dream and the main course was simply the best seabass I’ve ever tasted !! Pippa spoilt us by clearing away and doing the washing up.
