How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Aslong as the garage is structually stable it is suitable for a conversion.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
The first stage of a garage conversion would be to remove garage door and block it up or put in exterior door/window, this would involve digging a trench and installing a concrete footing to support youre wall. Also if the garage is detached from youre property it is more then likely it will need a new roof.Second stage would be to install first fix electric and plumbing. Third stage would be to install first fix carpentry and insulate floors walls and ceiling. Next the room/s would need to be plastered and the floor to be screeded and then second fix electrics, plumbing and carpentey. Finally the room/s would need decorating and a good clean up.

Started plastering in 2010 and since then have also done kitchen and bathroom installtion, structural building work, groundworks, bricklaying and decorating.
