Helping people! I was born to help people. I love watching my students grow as musicians, as well as growing within themselves. It is no coincidence that my job entails me to be organised. I thrive on organisation and mapping out plans and goals with my students, then working towards them.

Academy of Contemporary Music trained Adam Pickard is RGT (Registry of Guitar Tutors) accredited. He has extensive experience within the industry gained through live session work for major label artist Sony BMG, performing at The o2 and studio engineering for top selling label Universal.

Adam also enjoys songwriting and has had several songs recorded and released through Metropolis Studios (where the likes of Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, The Rolling Stones and Michael Jackson, to name a few, also have credits!). Retail shops, restaurants and TV shows both here and overseas regularly play his songs. Various artists and bands have been recorded in his studio, ranging from acoustic singer-songwriters looking for ‘full band’ sounding productions, to 5 piece rock bands!

Yes, lessons are available and encouraged during the COVID-19 pandemic to be taken online via Zoom, Skype or FaceTime.

COVID-19 measures are in place at the studio and are to be adhered to by all students.
These include the use of the hand sanitising station outside of the main entrance, used on arrival, hand sanitiser inside the studio to be used on exit and large screens are permanently placed up between the student and teacher. The studio is also aired out between each lesson.

Enjoy life on the louder side? Prefer the sound of distortion to the soft sounds of the Acoustic guitar? Want to be the next Hendrix, Clapton, BB King or John Mayer? Want to learn so you can form a band with your mates? Or maybe you just want to learn how to play a few songs. Either way, it sounds like youʼre looking for Electric guitar lessons.

Want to learn a few chords, start finger picking or play blues slide guitar? For the more mellow of the guitarists out there, or perhaps for the singer-songwriter inside you waiting to be released, why not take an Acoustic guitar lesson and see what all the fuss is about.

For those of you who prefer the deeper sounds of a guitar! Want to learn how to play a walking bass line? Does your mate’s band need a bassist to lock-in with the drummer and create a solid rhythm section? Perhaps you want to learn how to play SLAP BASS and be the next Flea (Red Hot Chilli Peppers). Let’s stop the shortage of bassists in the world.
