I booked Amigo’s Magic for a joint 6th Birthday party off the back of an online review and was so pleased I did. The kids were amazed and transfixed by the magic and extremely entertained by Simon’s cheeky sense of humour as were the adults watching in the background. There’s a lot of slapstick and no kid gloves here! You might even get picked on for a demonstration and anyone who did, loved it! Simon performed at our Son’s 5th birthday after we were impressed with him at another child’s party.Simon is entertaining, highly engaging, energetic and cheeky with the stamina to rival that of the kids. Although his performance is guided by a script, at times he also effortlessly takes it off course by picking out individuals including the adults which results in both parents and kids in fits of laughter.We highly recommend Amigos Magic for an entertaining stress free children’s party ! This is the second time we've booked Amigos magic. After my eldest daughter's 6th birthday party was such a success 2 years ago we asked him back to do my youngest daughter's 5th this year. All the kids had a great time and we had lots of compliments from the parents. We hired Amigo’s magic for our son’s sixth birthday. We went for the two hour party option for 30 kids and hired the local church hall. I started to get a bit anxious a couple of days before, unsure if I had done the right thing. How could one man entertain that many kids for two hours!! Memories of hideous childhood parties flooded back, but thankfully, Amigo’s magic was amazing.I managed to give Simon the wrong postcode for the venue, but he still arrived on time and was very accommodating of my error. From the moment Simon started his show, the children and parents were totally engaged. Simon was great at sharing the spot light, getting lots of kids involved in his tricks as well as singling out the birthday boy so he felt very special.The tricks were excellent, and so believable that my three year old really did think mummy was having a tube put through her tummy. She did recover herself and enjoyed the rest of the show.We had a short break at the half way point for drinks and snacks and then we were into a high energy plate spinning session followed by a very interactive balloon sword fighting session.The two hours flew by, all the kids loved the show and I have had heaps of positive feedback from the parents. 'Best party ever!' and 'Brilliant!' were just some of the many superlatives we received after Simon did his excellent magic show at my 6 year old daughter's birthday party. His visceral, comic connection with the children captivated them for the full hour and there were howls of laughter from both the parents and children. Simon entertained 40 five year olds for two hours with a Birthday tea break of twenty minutes in the middle. This was a really manageable way to do a large kids party. Simon even brought the party bags. He kept the children's attention throughout and even had jokes for the parents. Simon was absolutely brilliant. We had a difficult start with the hall being double booked and 30 children on the way. He kept the party going with balloon modelling and tricks until we got the hall. Simon is definitely the best entertainer I have seen at kids parties in the last 5 years. It is a combination of different activities, sense of humour and anticipation of surprises that keeps kids engaged and entertained. Kids always stay very enthusiastic, everyone is keen to participate in every round of activities and they will be talking about magic Amigo party for a long time after. A white live rabbit and spinning plates is an absolute hit. I have met Simon at four different parties (including two for my son’s birthdays) and I really value the experience. Simon did some walk around magic to entertain our guests at our 10th wedding anniversary party guests ranging in age from 2-80 and Simon worked the room with great magic tricks that wowed and balloon modelling which was fun for the kids, Simon is a true pro and has such good people skills he made sure he went to everyone and that each magic trick was a real experience for all I highly recommend Simon and we can't wait to have an excuse to book Amigos magic again! Thank you Amigo's Magic for such good performance. My boy 6 and girl 8 were over the moon . All guests enjoyed the show and have a fantastic time ⏰ . Children were entertained for two hours and kept occupied all the time. I have very positive comments from parents and kids.
