He also provided great consultation and alternatives in regards to complications arising from the structure of the house itself (old Victorian property). Unfortunately I can not join the chorus of excellent reviews (I wish it was the case!). Lee and his team renovated our bathroom last year.
Apart from overrunning allocated two weeks for the project by about 3 weeks and lacking efficient communication we ended up redoing one of the walls three times because plastering was done so badly; discovered that the electric wire for the heated mirror was just left under the floor boards not being connected to anything; the silicon (the parts that we did not have to redo) is now peeling of the wall (it has not even been a year since the installation); basin hot/cold tap was installed in reverse and we had to pay out plumber to redo it; 2 months after the installation the frog was found sitting at the bottom of our new bath tub in the morning (god knows how the pipes were connected outside to allow it to happen); the waste cover in the shower was installed wobbly (it still wobbles every time it is stepped on); the toilet plate manufacturer installation instructions were not followed (the necessary parts were thrown away by Lee and I had to order them from the manufacturer) and now we have an unfinished gap in the wall above the toilet flash plate. These are just a few “hiccups” to mention. If
Yes, the bathroom is usable. If you ignore all those issues and don’t switch on the bright light to see the wavy wall, peeling silicon and gaps in tile grouting! And yes, Lee agree with a snagging list , so I am still paying the tradesmen to rectify things.
If I knew in advance that we end up with all those issues I would have employed a different bathroom installer.

We employed Lee and the team at Ambient to rip out our old bathroom and fit a brand new bathroom with the new sink, bath and toilet in different positions in the room, which meant building a stud wall. They did plastering, electrics and lighting, as well as tiling the floor, walls and bath sides - all of which was done to the highest standard.Lee and his team were fantastic throughout. Lee and his colleague Liam came to fit a combi boiler and replace some radiators - couldn't be happier with my interactions with them or the workmanship. Our ancient boiler broke leaving us with no option but to replace it at short notice, Lee quickly quoted and carried out the work promptly. There was a small issue with some of the old pipe work following the new system pressure (not the fault of the installation by Ambient), but Lee came straight over the same night and it was resolved by lunch the next day with no fuss.
