Following a successful career in the City, Creative Director Paula Yates utilised her contacts to launch Amber Events in 2008.

We cannot thank Paula and her staff enough for organizing and executing a fantastic and grand 40th birthday celebration. The lighting, DJs and mixologists were all superb and I cannot speak highly enough of the wait staff. The weather was set to be nice, but the skies opened early on and Paula was straight on it and was able to erect a 6m x 3 gazebo in no time at all, so the party continued on. Paula even arranged a gymnastics performance from two members of her talented wait staff who happen to be junior olympic level gymnasts!! We had Amber Events for the 4th time helping me host a 70th for my mother in laws birthday. With their help and organisation the event went smoothly, and was a lot less stress having someone to ensure the guest's glasses were kept topped up, and they tidied up as they went so the house was left as if there had been no party at all! Everyone raved about the quality of the food- it was delicious, high quality fresh food, cooked/ prepared on site with minimal mess and fuss. Having Amber events there always ensures I get to enjoy the party, and look like the hostess with the mostest without lifting a finger! More...

Cannot thank Paula and her team enough for managing my husband's 30th party a couple of weeks back. From the outset Paula was totally on our wavelength and helped us so much to create the day and night we wanted. On the day the weather was horrendous and Paula pulled through with supplying (and assembling) as many gazebos/marquees as she could possibly get hold of. The caterers were amazing and all of our guests raved about the food. The bar staff were incredible, clearing up and making sure everyone had a full drink at all times. Last night saw me celebrate for 40th birthday!!!! I can’t tell you how amazing Paula and her team have been.....With a combination of the worst weather possible, we had to move the marquee, hire emergency heaters and have the dance floor relaid, all 3 hours before guests arrived, and without effort it was sorted The canapés were amazing, and guests couldn’t compliment enough. ...according to my mum, the best samosas she’s ever had! I couldn’t have asked for more from The DJ, music was spot on and the dance floor was full all night!! On such a high from, what I believe was the best party I’ve ever been to! We had Paula & her team manage the catering at our New Years Eve party & they were amazing!! The chef Spud made delicious canapés on site & the girls were very professional running the bar & serving all evening. The whole night went without a hitch & all our guests commented on how good everything was. What inspired you to start your own business?
I realised that to have an event company that could provide a fabulous chef and team who work together week in week out they understand each others positions , therefore delivering events to the highest order. The togetherness of our team is always noted by clients.
