I had Bex for my wedding in October 2018 and she absolutely made me look wonderful! I couldn't imagine anyone else doing a better job. She was also really considerate of what I'd asked for and just a really lovely person. the only thing that could have gone better was that she ran over by 45 minutes on the day which did put us behind schedule and was a little stressful but overall, she was marvellous and deserves a medal for what she can do! I love how Amanda did my hair and makeup! She did exactly what I wanted and I was in love with the way she did my eyelashes. I had trials with a couple of other bridal makeup artists before Amanda and there really was no comparison. She knew exactly what would suit me and managed to make me look naturally enhanced. She had a lovely, calming and gentle-nature - which I think is super important to have around you on your wedding day. Not only that, she's also really a talented artist. Amanda did such a fantastic job on my wedding hair and make-up - I cannot recommend her highly enough! She created exactly what I asked for and is such a lovely lady to be around on the wedding morning - she's calm and friendly which is exactly what every bride needs! I honestly cannot recommend Amanda highly enough. There are no words that do her justice! Not only is she a lovely, gorgeous and friendly person, she is also ridiculously talented! I loved the time we spent together on my trial and wedding morning, it was like spending it with an old friend. She made me so relaxed and I 100% trusted her to create the look I was after. She is an expert at creating that loose, textured romantic hair I was after, all whilst ensuring that it stayed in place all day and night - despite my questionable dance moves and being flipped around the dance floor by friends and family! I have notoriously slippy hair and I was so nervous at having it up as I didn't want it to fall down within minutes - I had absolutely nothing to worry about, Amanda made sure it was secure but still looked loose and romantic. I honestly can't stress how incredible it was! No one has ever managed to achieve this before on my hair! My make up was also perfect all day, despite the sweltering sun! She listened to everything I was hoping for and went above and beyond to make it perfect and natural. As someone who doesn't wear a huge amount of make up I was terrified of feeling caked with heavy products but Amanda only uses the best products and I felt a million dollars. I really can't express how absolutely brilliant Amanda is. From the very beginning she was lovely as well as professional and completely understood the natural look I was going for. Even when I changed my mind about my hair between my trial and my wedding I wasn't worried as I completely trusted her, she was incredibly accommodating and got it spot on. She was a joy to be around on the day and made me feel really relaxed. My hair and make-up was absolutely perfect, exactly what I had envisioned and so much more than I ever could have hoped for. I am sure you have been busy with at least two other brides since me, but I wanted to drop you a note to say thank you for making MY wedding day so perfect.

You were so relaxed and down to earth, that is felt like I was chatting to a friend rather than an almost-stranger, and my mum, sister and I all loved the little insights into the celebrity (and royal) make up worlds you shared.

I was endlessly complimented on looking beautiful and radiant and that was entirely down to you. If I could move you in to my home to prepare me for each day I would - but your husband might object!!

Thank you so so much, you were perfect in your calmness, flexibility (eyelashes on, eyelashes off, going for a walk in the breezy weather after having hair done...) and in your absolute brilliance at both hair and makeup. I felt amazing.

If I know of anyone else getting married within your catchment I shall certainly recommend you to them.

Amanda did the most incredible job with my wedding make-up. I couldn't recommend her more highly!

When I turned up for my trial, I only had the vague ideas of 'natural-ish' for my make-up and 'something up' for my hair. Despite very little guidance, Amanda made sure to ask lots of questions and review different styles with me to make sure she had a clear idea of what I wanted. I was very happy with my trial, but Amanda asked me to keep the make-up on for a few hours and then email her any feedback to ensure it was absolutely perfect. It meant that, on the day, I was absolutely thrilled (/delighted/ more adjectives!) with my make-up with the little tweaks she made. I have never felt more beautiful and looked like the very best version of myself. My make-up and hair were flawless and I received so many compliments. Amanda was lovely company on the day and booking her was one of the best decisions I made when planning the wedding. She is very lovely and incredibly talented with both hair and make-up.
