When we bought our new house we decided to get some professional help with colour/design etc rather than going with our own, fairly bland and safe choices. Best decision we could have made and in finding Amanda we got really lucky. She spent a long time with us talking about ideas for the two rooms, measuring and taking pictures and then came back with a mood board for each room containing fabric designs, colour swatches, ideas for furniture, lamps etc with a detailed spread sheet for each and links to where most of the items could be obtained. We were very impressed and it gave us an opportunity to try things we would have never considered. One room is now finished and we have incorporated a lot of her ideas and it looks amazing. I had the pleasure of working with Amanda Campbell at Debenhams Retail for a number of years. Amanda prepared and delivered all visual and creative requirements for new build and modernized department stores throughout the UK this was along side a regional visual management role covering a number of stores. She worked tirelessly to ensure excellent standard were delivered and deadlines were met within all her areas. Amanda has a natural ability to transform something that is very normal into something that is very beautiful, you will find she does this almost without any visible effort. My husband & I moved from our small London flat to our Country house in Lincolnshire, we didn't really have the creative minds or the time with work & two young children to transform our house. Amanda was able to provide a whole bunch of ideas & help with mood boards. Her input into our living room around fabric for curtains, cushions, carpet & lighting was fantastic & we were delighted with the end result. She helped us decide between replacing our entire kitchen or whether to just do cupboard doors, & what colour & style of kitchen would look good, including accessories. Amanda has done a brilliant job creating designs for my kitchen and living room. Having an interior designer isn't something I've ever considered before but I've always been slightly disappointed when I've decorated rooms that a whole look hasn't quite come together, plus my husband and I always like different things. Amanda has revolutionised this for us. We had one easy consultation, where we met Amanda, she asked us questions for guidance and took photos of the rooms we required designs for. She then came back with 2 amazing mood boards. She has chosen colours I don't think we would have ever looked at but because she has put the whole look together including all of the accessories you can see how fabulous it all looks and both my husband and I loved it. The shopping list is fab making it easy to order everything and giving a choice on some of the bigger items (wallpaper and sofa for us) was also really good. I placed orders for as much as a could the same day as I received the mood boards! The value for money she has achieved is also outstanding.
