The coaching session with Rav was extremely helpful, being completely new to open water swimming and very anxious. You can tell that Rav has 35 years experience in triathlon racing and coaching. He lives and breathes the sport, is always positive and encouraging, providing necessary feedback and the occasional "kick in the butt". His postive outlook translates to his coaching approach. I have met Rav in August 2016 after I came back from my summer holiday. It was then when I decided that I wanted to get back into Triathlon (I tried once before a few years ago but had to stop because of an injury). At the time when I met Rav I was carrying around a few pounds too many and had an ankle injury. I told Rav about my plans and he immediately put together a custom training plan for me. He started me of slowly to build up my strength and stamina and soon added exciting interval training to the mix. It was not long before I regularly ran 20km on a Sunday (within a few months) at a speed that I was never able to maintain before. In April I have completed the 167km at the Mallorca312 event in just over 6 hours, something I wouldn't have dreamt of when I started riding my bike again in September last year. Rav is very reactive to the athlete's circumstances, adjusting the training load for injuries, work commitments or fatigue. He is very knowledgeable and has clearly got a lot of experience given he has been competing in triathlon races for donkey years. He takes the thinking out of the process (which is a lot given you need to plan for three sports at once), all you need to do is follow his plan and advise.
