All Floors provided a technical solution for an impervious kitchen floor that couldn't be adhered to a greasy substrate. They provided a very good service and were professional throughout. The job was conducted in a narrow time window so as not to interfere with the business of the kitchen. Have used All Floors a couple of times in the past, they are my first point of call. Advice, ideas, practicality and honesty are second-to-non. Pricing is spot on, verbal price offered and followed up with the official quote, invoiced before work commences, all laid out (deposit, fitter and final payment) nothing is hidden. Workmanship is superb, clean, tidy, tidy and clears up and away, spot on. Fitter(s) is/are great, punctual explains the task, talks and dosent mind a conversation whilst working.I would highly recommend All Floors for all the above reasons and you are most deifinantly not ripped off. my wife and i had decided we wanted wooden flooring fitted in the lounge/diner area! after having researched what we wanted we had a closer look at the shape of the walls/flooring area. living in a house that was built in 1851 - they are not straight or flat!so we called All Floors along with a couple of other local floor fitting companies in our area, the other 2 did not fill my wife with confidence. Phil at All Floors did, not only did he talk us down from wooden flooring, explaining why it was not good for our room due to shape! What do you love most about your job?
Meeting people from all walks of life, from famous people like John Lord of Deep Purple, to a disabled lady that has since become a close family friend. Treating each the same and trying to advise them on how best to tackle a problem floor or what colour scheme would suit.
Every day is different!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked for a large independent flooring company in the Thames valley for a decade and needing to try and set up a company for myself, and challenge myself more. Working for your self has advantages and disadvantages, but most people would say they would never go back, and I can happily say the same.
Why should our clients choose you?
See both of the above I would say, but also that if a customer wants honest advice, the right product and the best fitters, give All Floors a call.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have made some changes - always wearing face masks when visiting or fitting, carrying alcohol based hand gels and wearing gloves in addition as and when necessary. Distancing can be awkward, but for the most part, with help from the clients, we have been able to do so.
It's so unusual not to be able to greet a customer with a handshake, but after nearly a year it's now second nature. Let's hope we can revert sometime soon!
