Alex looked after our puppy for about a year before we moved away from the area, she was absolutely fantastic with him, he usually came back better behaved than he went in and he had the chance to socialise with lots of other well behaved dogs. My Cockapoo Dexter went to Alex’s Ark twice a week for the whole day. Alex can’t do enough for your pet, always very welcoming and calm. Dexter would have plenty of exercise, socialise and come home happily tired. Dexter was always very excited to see Alex and I never worried about him leaving him even from day one. Alex was the perfect person to look after our dog whilst we went on holiday.
We trusted her completely after having met her, and left us feeling at ease that our dog would be left in perfect hands.
Our dog is a rescue so we didn't want to leave him in kennels, so home boarding was our first and only option.
The regular 'pup-dates' were very reassuring-more so for my Husband!
I would recommend Alex to anyone who needs their dog looking after, for a holiday or even doggy daycare.
Our dog had a wonderful time with Alex, he's only just recovered from 2hour walks daily!

Alex is brilliant, she looks after our pup a few days a week on a regular basis so he doesn't get bored whilst we're at work. She is great with him and is actively involved in his training as he often comes back better behaved than he went in!!! He loves Alex and we feel relaxed knowing he is in safe hands and not bored at home!!! She also looked after him for a week when we went away- regular updates were lovely and he came back pooped from all the lovely walks!! I book Dexter in twice a week with Alex and he loves it. He is so excited when he sees her and that is because he is going to have the best day with her, either mixing and playing with other dogs, going for a lovely walk, or even popping in to town for some socialisation. I can’t recommend Alex’s Ark enough, a fab home from home environment, beautiful long walks for your pup and Alex is so lovely. We’ve never left our pointer with a pet sitting service before but as soon as we met Alex we knew Dotty would have the best time in a loving kind environment.
