So glad that we found these guys. We needed a new bathroom, kitchen and downstairs toilet/cloakroom installed. The work was carried out to an incredibly high standard, and we are delighted with the results. Through the original planning stages, which were carried out at their shop front premises to the finished result we could not be happier. We had a few teething problems on completion, which is only to be expected, but these were fixed quickly, and in the case of a troublesome floor covering in the kitchen, this was replaced with a more expensive flooring at no extra cost to us. We would not use anyone else if we need further upgrades to our house carried out. We highly recommend this company, and would advise anyone looking to use their services to buy with confidence! I am very happy with the result starting from the initial survey, a very detailed quote together with 3D graphics, excellent communications and high quality workmanship. Just over a year ago we had our bathroom in a Flat in a Victorian terraced house converted into a wet room by Alban, who previously created a wet room in our daughter's flat. Everything went totally smoothly from the design process right through to completion to a very high standard. Alban and his co-worker arrived each day as planned and were unfailingly courteous, caring of our property and very efficient. Alban was always ready to respond to particular requests along the way and the finished result is a delight to us. Alban returned to remedy a small fault that developed in a sink drain plug and otherwise everything has been perfect. We have unhesitatingly made some personal recommendations of Alban's work which have been taken up and feel entirely happy to recommend his work more widely. We've Just finished having a lovely kitchen and wet room fitted by Mick, Alban and the team.
When We decided to have a new kitchen the biggest problem is finding someone to do a good job for you. There was no need to have worried because everything turned out to be perfect. My husband contacted various companies and Mick was the first one to get back to us We made a appointment and Mick and his son Ash came round and listened to what we wanted and came up with the plan on the lap top so we could see what it would all look like straight away. Mick is very enthusiastic and we both felt he couldn't have made more effort if his was planning his own kitchen. So we decided without having any more quotes to go ahead. The showroom Alban Gray have just opened in Benfleet is amazing and when we went to have a look we made a few changes to our order because everything in the shop was so lovely. It's well worth popping along to have a look.
Our kitchen and wet room took about 4 weeks to complete. All the team did an excellent job and nothing was to much trouble, they were very friendly and helpful. To conclude We have never in our opinion seen a nicer kitchen than ours we would like thank Alban , Mick and his team for making this happen and for working so hard and giving us our dream kitchen. Overall I’m happy with the finished product provided by Alban Gray, although it took longer than planned to complete. The effort put in by Mick and Alban themselves was excellent, they were very helpful and made sure I was happy with the finished bathroom.

The job was to totally remove the old bathroom and replace with a new one, changing from a bath to a walk in shower and tiling the floor and walls. I visited the showroom and met Mick, who helped me design the bathroom and come up with a plan. I was really impressed with the service provided and even recommended them to a friend.

The original estimate was 7-10 days, starting on Monday 20th February. The price provided was very competitive and I was happy with the design.

Unfortunately the team sent to perform the work were not up to the standard expected. There was no work done on the first day, and in the first week only short hours were worked (this is obviously not a problem provided progress is being made). I also had to point out some shelves in the plan that had been missed.

The fitter was sick on the second Monday (which happens in all professions, so no complaints there) but I was assured that they were still on track to finish on the Friday. They ended up working from around 8am-6pm on the Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and still hadn’t finished. They came back on Tuesday evening to do more.

It was after this that I called Mick, as I was unhappy with the quality of work as well as the time it was taking. Alban visited and agreed that it wasn’t up to standard, and arranged for another fitter to finish the work, plus re-do several parts. Alban even ordered a new toilet unit as the original team had managed to cut it incorrectly and therefore ruin it.

It took until March 28th for final completion, after a few more corrections which they were happy to carry out.

We had our new bathroom designed and installed by Alban Gray. We were really impressed with the service from start to finish. Mick came round and did the initial measurements and offered some suggestions as to what we could do with the space we had. We then went down to the shop a week later and spent some time looking at the designs that had been drawn up and deciding on exact tiles and colours, all of which were updated on the design immediately so we could see what impact this had. Once we had settled on the final design it took about three weeks for works to start. The quality of the work done by Alban and his team was excellent and the works were done well with mess kept to a minimum. It took two weeks for the works to complete and the finished bathroom is superb. We are really happy with how it has turned out. The aftercare has also been excellent with a couple of really minor things resolved quickly and without issue. We would go back to Alban Gray for any future work at home. More...

Alban Gray reformed our bathroom after a long time coming from complete gutting out to brand new. We were so pleased with the professionalism from Mick and Ash. They came to see us at home and listened to what we wanted and what we didn't. We were given lots of options on design which we found very exciting. Then we had a wonderful preview on Ash's laptop which put it into reality for us that it would look amazing! The work is done to a high standard and a wonderful finish. Alban Gray did a wonderful job of installing my kitchen from scratch! From Ash's designs and Mick's advice to Alban's expert installation management the job went extremely well.

They even can back and organised the tiling changes I wanted and did a sterling job at that!

Mick and Alban first installed a brand new bathroom for us. They then installed a new toilet in the en-suite bathroom. Then they changed our Kitchen to install a split level oven and microwave oven. they have since supplied new handle less doors to all our Kitchen units. At all times they were courteous and helpful. The installations were of top quality and the workmanship excellent, and yet they worked swiftly. They also installed new fitted wardrobes into both of our bedrooms. All Excellent! More...

I recently employed Alban Gray to create a new en-suite bathroom using an ajoining utility room at my house in Camberley Surrey.
Following the initial survey I recieved a detailed quote complete with 3D graphics showing what the new en-suite would look like.
After accepting their competitive quote, work commenced about 4 weeks later with the arrival of 3 builders whose work was without fault.
The builders arrived just after 8am each morning and left just before 5pm each evening, they were very careful not to make any mess and tidied up before leaving.

My house only has one bathroom and with a growing family we identified a requirement for a new en-suite bathroom and requested a quote from Alban Gray.

Alban Gray arranged an appointment an ran us through a range of options to suit our budget. A few days later a quote arrived which came complete with 3D visuals and a breakdown of costs. At this point I was already confident that Alban Gray would not disappoint and had no hesitation in giving them the go ahead.

A few weeks later, three builders arrived and started work. I was hugely impressed with their skills, knowledge and cleanliness. Every day they arrived just after 8am and worked hard until 5pm, they were very careful to ensure there was no mess and were very tidy.

The work was completed just over one week from starting and we now have a beautiful en-suite extension which includes a large shower enclosure, toilet, sink, mirror cabinet, electric towel radiator, extractor fan, ceiling lights and new door.

Here are the reasons why we would recommend Alban Kitchens & Bathrooms' services to others:
1. Within a couple of days since I posted the job online, I received phone call from Mick to confirm a visit time and received a quote and 3D design during his visit. They responded fast, handled our requests and challenges professionally with structured advice.
2. Delivery. The quote covers all the products so we don't really have anything to worry about. We were briefed the execution plan and timetable in advance. Alban and his team showed up in the morning on time and hit the daily targets all the time. They kept our house as clean and tidy as possible. They delivered a beautiful finish of a new bathroom to us by the 7th day, and by the 9th day, the rubbish got collected too.
3. We have been using our new bathroom for over 6 months and all functional well.
