What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Emotion. Context. Drama.
In all cases, regardless of whether it's a wedding or a product photograph there should be a story. Stories sell, stories connect us together.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What's your desired outcome? What do you want to do with your images? Who will see them and where? Finally, why?
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting and engaging with new people and providing them with imagery that they're passionate about.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was the guy with the camera when everyone needed it. My skills grew from there and after two former careers it made sense to turn my passion into a business. 14 years on I'm still passionate about taking pictures of other people and making them smile.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a wealth of experience in photography but also in life. I'm 37, I've got a wife, 2 young kids and a spaniel. I've had two previous careers which I've enjoyed for different reasons and have travelled a lot with each.
I know that life isn't easy and sometimes you need someone to help you do things above what you ask of them - often without you knowing you need it. I'm a problem solver and that is what I do.
I hope to be able to do that for you because when you hire a professional they should look out for you as an individual/business providing you with not just what's been asked for but whatever they can to ensure the end result is, at least, what's expected from them.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
For those services I offer which require in-person meetings to take pictures or video, clearly can't be done remotely. However, all communication that can be will.
For product photography, I am happy to communicate remotely with clients, ensure all details are collated correctly and work independently to complete the job. I have my own studio and am happy for clients to zoom into product shoots to be part of their sessions without needing to travel.
Ultimately, where there's a will, there's a way.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I'm fully vaccinated and not a space invader.
If you want to work remotely with me and it's feasible to do so, I'm happy to comply with your requests.

Corporate headshot photography sessions available from £120 when shot in my Windermere studio. On location shoots available from £170.
