I can say this will full honesty, i'm not going to anyone else for headshots! Safe to say I was nervous, I'd never done a headshot shoot before. But Aimee made me feel relaxed and welcome. She talked me through everything that would happen in the shoot and made me feel comfortable, and just allowed me to have fun. Everything you see in my headshots was brought out by Aimee and I can't thank her enough. And the best part about the day was definitely Aimee, her skills as a photographer are nothing compared to who she is as a person. I needed some headshots. I looked at the work of local photographers before making a choice and Aimee's work was head-and-shoulders above the rest (forgive the pun? ). Receiving a quick response after I had sent an email enquiry, I booked a slot at the earliest possible date, which Aimee was later able to make sooner due to a cancellation.

When I arrived on location I felt instantly comfortable and at ease. After the shoot we sat down together and looked at the resulting images. Having worked on many productions, Aimee was able to make informed suggestions if I was struggling to choose between photos.

I am extremely satisfied with the headshots I received and the process involved. Although pricier than some photographers in the Birmingham area (and rightly so), I would recommend Aimee to anyone without hesitation and will be returning in the future. More...

I couldn't be happier with my new headshots from Aimee Spinks. I've never had such an effortless, enjoyable, and professional session as this. Aimee is an expert in her craft and the only difficult thing is actually choosing which photos to use. I had a photoshoot with Aimee about a month ago and the results were fantastic! We had a great morning working together and she is very approachable and lively to help you feel comfortable and at ease.
She is so lovely to work with and she is patient when going through all the shots afterwards. Aimee will direct you through the shoot and give advice if needed to help you fill your goal in what you are trying to achieve.
I got my chosen photos back within the day which is a brilliant turnaround as she did need to do some editing.

Aimee is a fantastic photographer and an exceptional person. She is very easy to work with and was really quick at returning my edited photographs. I'm not usually comfortable in front of a camera but Aimee made the whole experience effortless. She has a lovely, natural way of directing even a difficult client like myself to get the most out of the shoot. I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the experience.

Also, I must add that I lost my phone on the day and Aimee went back outside in the cold to look for it which shows what a lovely person she is.

AS someone who hates having their photo taken - but have to for professional reasons - Aimee is so wonderful to work with.
