AGR Roofing & Construction

We had a complete roof replacement done last September. The roof went ok, but AGR was also handling a lot of other damage, including our French door, some facia damage, and gutters. They did the roof in September and after a lot of waiting and bugging they sent a guy out to repair the hole in our facia. When he repaired it, he cut our gutter right above our French door, which was damaged in the storm. AGR was trying to get the insurance to pay for more expensive gutter guards, so didn't replace the gutters for another month and a half. In this time, we had a few more rain storms and because of the cut gutter, water was pouring into our home and ruined our wood floors. I found out later the delay was because they were waiting for gutter guard decision. Not cool. Lots more damage caused by this. At the end, the PM was bugging me for payment. When I got the check and deposited, he asked if I could post date a check. I told him I would, but asked him to wait for me to tell him the check cleared before he deposited it. ASBESTOS ROOF-----Thank you so much Zach Hart!!!.  If you are someone who hates dealing with your insurance company, CALL AGR ROOFING and ask for Zach Hart.  He is the insurance whisperer.We have an asbestos roof original to the house built in 1939 that desperately needed to be replaced.  We also had significant water damage to our entryway and stairway leading upstairs. Our insurance adjuster came out to inspect and gave us $7,000 (a ridiculous amount) to replace the roof and fix the interior. The insurance company cut a check; closed the claim and stopped returning our calls.We checked Yelp reviews, called AGR and Zach came out.  He looked at everything, took pictures of the roof with a drone and said our insurance company was definitely low-balling us.  He got our homeowners policy information and assured us our insurance company will pay for it.  AND THEY DID.  We did not have to do anything.Eight days later, our insurance company cut us another check and payed a total of $30,313.  We had the entire roof replaced, interior fixed AND new gutters.  Zach was in constant contact with us.  He was very hands-on and always checked the completed work.  SERIOUSLY, use this company for all of your roofing and construction needs.  Excellent work!! Hello!! I'd love to give the company a 5 start review but unfortunately, I have to give them a 2 star review.On October 29th, 2021 I spoke to a receptionist by the name of Rylee she confined that they do chimney flashing repairs. We agreed to have a sales manager/project manager Alex come do an estimate on November 3rd at 2pm. On November 3rd Ryan the sales manager/project manager called at 1:22pm Ryan: "I had a family emergency and will need to reschedule. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Will Thursday November 3rd or 4th work for you?" Me: "Not a problem - completely understand and either day will work for me". Ryan: great - I will text you either Thursday November 4th or Friday November 5th to let you know what time I will be stopping by". On November 4th no call or text from Ryan. On November 5th no call or text from Ryan. On November 8th at 9:50AM I texted Ryan with "Hi! This is Jay from address 123 Apple Street (obviously I gave him my real address). Are you still planning to stop by to give me an estimate?" On November 8th at 12:45PM I call the office number and spoke with Rylee. I expressed what had happened and would love to have someone still come out. Rylee was super apologetic and said "I have this noted and will reach out to Ryan ASAP to contact you". Today November 10th, I have received no estimate or call from Alex or AGR roofing to ensure someone came to do an estimate. At this point, my time was wasted and I will not be doing business with this company. On a side note, Ryan, iPhone has read receipt which yours is on so I can see you read my text on November 8th with no reply as of today. If this is the type of business practices your company preaches then you may want to reconsider your customer first values. More...

AGR is the company that we decided to use after a huge storm blew through and destroyed our roof, gutters, and siding. Zach came out with the insurance adjustor and made sure to point out every little detail that needed to be addressed. Zach took tons of pictures for proof, all while stating it was some of the worst damage he had ever seen and no one would believe him without the pictures. They worked with insurance to make sure everything was noted and in the claim as needed. The work began almost immediately, while the other houses around us were still waiting for insurance to start. Our new roof was installed only a couple weeks later and looks amazing! We had a black roof installed, and they even went above and beyond and painted our vent pipes black to make sure nothing looked "out of place". And that is one of the many things I would have never thought about. Zach came out each time the crew was here (2.5 hour drive) to make sure they were handling everything with care and doing exactly as Zach and I had discussed. One of the best parts of the roof replacement was how clean the crew left my house. They did 2 sweeps to make sure everything was picked up. Now, of course, nothing is 100%, but I would say they went above and beyond to ensure they got everything they physically could.After that, was the siding; Zach told me it would more than likely be a few weeks to order materials, and the next day, a delivery truck was here. When inspecting the material, we noticed it was the wrong color and sent pictures to Zach. He said he would take care of it, and he did. The crew arrived a week later and Zach brought all the right colors with him and took the wrong back with him. The siding took a few days to install, which is normal, but the crew was here sun up to sun down. Trying their hardest to make everything look perfect. They were not shy about asking a question or two to make sure it was the way we wanted. Not just throw it up and call it good. Very impressed with that. They were also very good at cleaning up after themselves, and it is a very messy job and has a lot of little cuts and such along the way. They even put siding boxes around all hose bibs, lights, and outlets. Not something that is required, or that I had before, but something Zach called "his standard". Just the little things that make it a great experience. When the siding crew told Zach that they did not install windows, Zach didn't bat an eye, and jumped in and installed the window himself. Not something he had to do, he could have called the office and scheduled someone to come out later, but decided it best to get it done then and there.The gutter crew came on a Saturday around 9 am, and were gone before noon. It was amazing how fast they were able to do everything and make it looks amazing! The house looks like a brand new house from the outside. It looks 10 times better than I could have ever imagined. We have had many compliments on the new look and are very happy! More...
