Alicia looked after my two cats and chinchillas whilst we were on holiday. She kept me updated about them by showing me pictures of them looking happy and content on her Facebook page. They were all kept clean and tidy and fed and watered. The litter box was kept clean and when we we returned they were as we left them. Due to a job change we needed someone to come in and let our old boy out in the garden once a day, Alicia has been very accomodating to the ad hoc visits to work around my shifts and has been very understanding and patient with Marley who is very set in his ways, she has taken the time for him to get used to her coming into to visit him. Alicia has been working with Mini for 3 weeks now and I am so happy with how things are going. Being a rescue, Mini can be quite nervous of new people but, within 2 visits, she settled with Alicia so well. It always let's me know people are good when Mini settles with them quickly. Alicia has improved Mini's confidence so much in 3 weeks, with the assistance of the lovely Skye. Alicia has been helping train our very energetic skyler. Skyler used to pull on the lead during every walk and would become very excited when encountering any dog. After a month with Alicia I was able to walk skyler while pushing my newborn in the pram and walking my 2 other kids to school. We encountered dogs and cats and had a lovely walk with no pulling!! Alicia has been super flexible and helped out last minute with extra walks with skyler while I had to spend time in hospital. He's not a straightforward dog and needs careful handling at times, but Alicia has been brilliant with him. What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the dogs happy and being able to provide outstanding care to customers and the reviews and comments from customers is a great feeling. However the best thing is making a difference to a dogs life whether that be through training or just general day to day pointers.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Always wanted to have my own business but when I got my dog Skye. I then had the push of starting up my own business.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have previous experience working with all different dog breeds, sizes and temperaments through a doggy day care centre. I treat every dog like they are my own and clients will receive regular updates.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I can provide simple training remotely via videos and phone calls. Types of training remotely would be recall training, teaching your puppy to walk on lead, trust building with a nervous dog.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I will wear a mask when entering clients homes if this is something they would like. Always carry hand sanitiser so will sanitise hands before entering and after entering to ensure no germs are spread.
Dog walking
I have different options regarding dog walks that I offer. I either or for one hour solo walks, 30 minute solo walks, our group walk Maximum of three dogs, 30 minute puppy walk
Pop ins
Pop ins is ideal for someone who just needs their dog checked on and let out for the toilet or a feed
House visit
House visit Is where I spend 30 minutes with your dog doing enrichment activities or playing toys with them. I like to offer breed Fulfilment activities are benefit individual dogs needs.
Small animal visits
I will pop in your small animals whether that be cats hamsters parrot and any other animal you may have that may need a visit whether that be because you’re on holiday or it needs that extra care throughout the day.
1:1 training
I also offer a 30 minute training session to help work on whatever it is you would like help with.
