I had a promising initial deal with this company in August 2023 which was mediated by Damien which I was extremely satisfied with despite of the late start of the project 2 months later. When the work started in October with a promise of completion in 6 weeks (i.e. end of Nov.), we again had lapses and delays with the working lads however Tom's close follow up sorted this by replacing the builder and it all went smoothly with an amended completion date before Christmas which wasn't met. I understand there were inevitable personal circumstances with the company leadership recently, however the delay is ongoing with no completion date in mind! I am writing this on 10 March 2024 after a thread of follow up emails and the project isn't completed yet. Although the deal includes a patio around the 4.2mx4m orangery, however the patio is now off the deal hopping for a sooner completion.
This has costed us lots of cash and more importantly several changes of family plans since Christmas, and limited our full utilisation of our own house!
I feel extremely frustrated and hopeless.
To be fair, I will revisit and ammend this review if the project got completed this month. Fingers crossed we can have our social life back by having our family and friends visit when this nightmare is over. More...

We hired advanced home improvements in 2020 to complete a side single story extension. The work was finished to a good standard but there were a number of serious issues including the mains electrics needing moving which was not in their original planning. This left us personally with a hefty bill, having to personally to liaise with electricity north west and also our house being briefly "condemned" as the advanced ltd electrician left the mains live coming up through the kitchen floor.

The job was completed October 2020 but despite it being documented in our contract we're still to receive a buildings regulations certificate. I've chased several times but we haven't heard back from them now for several months. Proceed with caution. More...
