Although this Company comes over very charming, they are not to be trusted.
I did the usual thing got three quotes for some barge-boards to be replaced, they quoted a price of £2,500 then when they started the work they found we need the rafters replaced.
Danny sent over photos and quoted £7,500 for the complete job.
Work was done, very quickly, scaffolders were also very lovely people.
On completion, Danny came over and presented a bill for £11, 400.
When we questioned the price Danny said it was + VAT. We disputed this and it took my accountant to write to him to explain that he was not VAT registered.
So not only did he overcharge us £ 2,500 her tried to charge VAT as well.
On top of that when the scaffolders came to take everything away they told us they only paid them £400 even though their bill was £1500.
We have never received the guarantee as promised and no reply to his emails.
So please beware, this company may be on BARK but it goes to show that this is not a guarantee!! More...
