After qualifying as a Chemical Engineer, I had worked in the Petrol Chemical industry for ten years. For the love of teaching, I did my PGCE in Mathematics as a mature student and since then, I have been in the teaching profession. I bring both practical and academic knowledge in order to provide my students with a head start in achieving the necessary qualifications.

What do you love most about your job?
As a teacher, the most important thing for me is that my students go on to achieve their desired grade. There is nothing more fulfilling and satisfying than to know I was part of my students' life. Even after so many years, I still remember my old teachers as a flashback as to what they taught me and helped me to get where I am today. I expect my new students to experience the same, which can only be priceless.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I expect Corona has changed many people's lives and it has certainly changed mine. As of now as a teacher, I have decided to teach online from home. This will be a new experience for me but I hope a satisfying one. I have been in the teaching profession for a long time and I would not do anything different as this has been the most satisfying career for me. The only difference is rather than being in the class, I will be passing on knowledge to whoever and wherever my students are. So this will be a new exciting career for me but from a distance and yet the same one that I have enjoyed thus far.

My industrial background and profound academic achievements both in Mathematics and Science puts me in an optimum position to pass on knowledge to those students who have the desired expectations, which were mine in my early days.
Together with this, I have been in the teaching profession for many years, which can only enhance teaching and learning. Teaching is an art that can only be acquired via thorough training and many years of experience. Those who want to teach may have subject knowledge (students looking to tutor) but not everyone has the ability to deliver that excellent lesson.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have attended a Covid-19 Health and Hygiene course through my teaching agency. I am well aware of the conditions that confronts us today and what precautions each one of us should take in order to stay safe.
