Carys helped me get my body (and my sanity) back after having my first baby. Her classes are tough but fun and the ActiveMum programme is brilliant. I can't recommend her enough!

Carys's classes are fantastic. I love the variety in every session and the way that Carys adapts the exercises to each individual which has been essential in helping me rebuild the strength in my knee after an ongoing injury.

Carys really helped me get my confidence for back following two emergency c-sections. I was an exhausted new mum with back & neck ache and was nervous to join any type of class. The small class size and Carys's expertise has enable me to become a confident runner and her classes have worked wonders in stabilising my core, keeping my back and neck problems at bay! The classes are fun and the class times suit my childcare. Thanks Carys can't recommend you enough! X More...

Q&As

I could use the cliche - 'a 6 pack is made 20% in the gym and 80% in the kitchen', but I feel that can be a little scary. Instead I look at food as something that not only do we use as fuel for energy and health, but also as enjoyment, so I don't believe in deist, but instead like to educate people on how they can make simple changes to lead and much healthier life, whilst still enjoying what they eat.

It depends on each clients, but my group training clients have individual goals, weekly challenges (where they can score points which they can swop for goodies) and a fun message group. My 1 to 1 clients have 3month journals, homework, nutrition fact sheets and challenges, as well as a comprehensive assessment structure, so they can see their progress. But for me, the simplest concept is the best - it has to be fun, otherwise why would you continue with it.

Learning how to listen to what your body is feeling you, eating the right balance of carbs, fats and protein, in the right portions and leading an active, relaxed (well, where possible) lifestyle

The variety of people that I get to work with towards their very different goals. I like a challenge

I wanted to take the concepts I learnt whilst working with athletes, and use them with everyone else, making sure my clients knew that they would not only get results, but they were also in safe hands.

I could list of my degree and qualifications, but the essential quality is that you have to get on with me, as then you will not only trust me, but also enjoy your sessions, helping you to get the most out of them.
