Having been to many gyms over the years A1 fitness is a cut above the rest, it's personal to your own needs and requirements and has a great atmosphere to train in. It is clearly a rapidly growing business and I can understand why, They work you hard and get you results! Good work Lee! More...

Excellent service and a variety of workouts, with a great, friendly atmosphere. Whether it is a regular workout that challenges you all the way, or PT that is tailored to you, A1 would be top of my list every time.

Three weeks into starting at A1 Fitness and I'm a massive fan of the welcoming attitude, the fact that everyone of any level is made to work to their own goals and there is a friendly crowd at all of the classes I have been too. If you want to do something different every session then this is perfect. There are no frills but that's part of the attraction for me. The team at A1 are awesome and the group sessions they run are the right mix of give me more/please stop now... I went to supplement my running with cross training and saw a dramatic improvement in my running in only 3 weeks... Can't recommend them enough �

Team A1 is exactly what thet are perfect. They motivate, encourage and cheer you on, work you hard but make it fun. I highly recommend them to improve your whole outlook from nutrition to internal and external strenght and conditioning.

My wife and I absolutely loved our experience with A1. The staff is very professional and the environment is both friendly and challenging. The one-on-one personal training sessions are fantastic and tailored to meet your specific fitness goals. The classes are outstanding and neither of us ever left feeling like we weren't pushed to our limits. If anyone had told me 2 years ago that I'd be taking part in mud runs, lifting weights and going to the gym 5 times a week is have laughed in their face!
I came into A1 tentatively and with trepidation; I hate those soulless chain gyms and wasn't sure how this would be any different. I knew that once I started coming I'd find it hard not to feel obliged (by my own conscience) to go as I'd see Carly regularly at the school gates. So I made sure I could commit to at least one session a week.
I started with Metafit and being about a stone and a half over my ideal weight and totally unfit I found it incredibly hard but really great fun; mostly down to Carly and her attitude to training.
I like that there were different levels for each exercise so if you're not that fit you can still be doing something even if it's not the full on version.
I liked that I could pay per session and there was no commitment ( apart from the commitment to myself to actually go to the gym).
Within 6 months I was doing 3 sessions a week and paying monthly.
I like the way that you can see progress... Like the first time I stuck with the "finisher" on Terife (all Metafit routines have a name and the finisher not only means it's the end of the session but it really does finish you off!). And you can push it to the next level when your ready and with a bit of encouragement from Carly.
Kettlebells is another favourite with Melissa and Lee bringing different skills to their classes.
I did Ladies that Lift with Lee about a year ago; my first experience with weight lifting. The squat rack is a delight!
Following that I started Carly 12 week body transformation programme and have really focused on my diet (eating the right thing at the right time, cutting alcohol, sugar, white bread/ potatoes etc). The group is on the 3rd consecutive programme so now it's basically group PT.
Carly is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about food and nutrition and her training programmes are tailored and interesting.
Last year I did my first couple of mud runs; 10km and 12km. I was worried because I'm not a runner. I thought I should be doing some kind of training to prepare but Lee pointed out that everything we do at the gym is preparation enough. I did it, I loved it and have just signed up for my first run of 2016.
Will's HIIT 4 core is fabulous, he knows how to work those abs but you still get a full body workout.
Sunday boot camp is a favourite; you never know which trainer you'll get and they all have their own unique routines and it's never the same twice!
I've also started doing personal training with Carly to really focus on getting to where I want to be....Hopefully we'll see the results by this summer!
Ok enough verbal diarrhoea.... If you want to get fit, this is the place to come. You will get out of it what you put in. You won't meet a friendlier bunch of people. The A1 team are passionate about what they do and they do it well. Give it a go....what have you got to lose?
