One of the classes you should definitely attend is Maureen's 'Les Mills Bodycombat''. The class was full! The only problem was that there wasn't enough space and was tight, but anyway! Good functional gym with lots of natural light. Good focus on both cardio machines and weights (machines and frees). Clientele tends to leave this place in a mess but that's every gym and of course Puregym instructs its staff to do the occasional sweep and reset. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Also has a spin room and studio which is nice to use outside of sessions. Its a small size gym overall but has good equipment and really nice staff.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's pretty crampt at peak hours, although that's not necessarily the gyms fault. Unfortunately it's often hard to find the weights I want as many of the customers don't put them away. I would recommend better ventilation in the gym and changing rooms to make it more comfortable and stop customers feeling so lightheaded during their workouts. More...

I like this gym, seems to be organised. They have toilets for people with disabilities too. However after 11pm? you are not allowed to use their showers (lockers you can use anywhere any time) and they do not provide you with shower gel nor towel- so bring your own. My gym membership is off-peak (cheapest) meaning I can go Mon-Fri after 8.30pm all the way through the night to 5am, Sat and Sun I can go any time and leave any time. PureGym Holborn is great, functional and pretty good value. Although there are hardly any staff, they're very friendly and accessible if you do need to speak to somebody. It's worth noting that the gym is *absolutely heaving* during peak times and that this often means you'll be left waiting 5-10 mins to use the equipment you want. Super convenient to get to due to its central location. Gets very packed after work, especially Mondays. With the limited weights equipment available I would try and hold off until after half past six during the week to avoid waiting and there being too many people in the space.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Building good habits is more important than following any specific diet or exercise regime, because when life gets busy and you don't have time to get to the gym 5 times a week, those good habits will stay with you.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to inspire the people I meet and more importantly I love to see the progress they make. Knowing that the good things they adapted may serve them for a lifetime.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The possibility of doing good and causing a positive ripple effect in a society crippled by lack of movement and nutrition that supports their goals was No 1. Getting paid for it is a plus!
Why should our clients choose you?
I am more of a carrot than a stick trainer, if you like to have an intelligent conversation that goes beyond training you will enjoy our sessions. I can motivate people without being harsh or barking instructions at them. Training should be fun not intimidating.
