What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people develop their businesses. I love becoming as enthusiastic about someone else's product offering as they are. I love working with driven like minded people who are willing to trust my recommendations and work in partnership. I love the challenge and I love developing my own skillset in a new arena, everyday.
What inspired you to start your own business?
In short, challenging myself to explore my full potential,, and the full potential of my customers.
I developed very quickly in the corporate world, and essentially reached my target of becoming a Director of a corporate business within my first 13 years in business.
Having learnt and experienced so many transferrable skills in that time, with Kepak, my next position would have been a director role. However there where areas in my life that needed improvement for me to achieve my end goals, one of which was having a work life balance that meant I could still challenge myself in my career, but spend more quality fulfilling time with the people I loved.
In Jan 2018, I was given the opportunity to work with an up and coming business to develop a growth strategy and challenge the owner as to what the next steps of their business looked like. After 3 months I realised how much I loved this new way of working and quickly took on two more customers. My passion and drive for success have seen an extremely rewarding 1st year in business, and I hope to continue my personal growth with my family and professional growth with 80/37 Business Solutions.
