About

I offer a mobile personal training service; train in your home, garden or outdoors in one of the many parks across Brighton & Hove and the surrounding area.

I also offer remote personal training via Skype, Zoom and WhatsApp and to make remote training as personal as possible I've invested in a motion sensor camera, so that I can coach without worrying whether or not you can see what I'm doing.

Very impressed so far, have had 4 sessions with Gav and he is very good and has set programmes to suit my needs! He is very encouraging and am enjoying getting fitter and feel motivated from the first session! So far so good!!!

I start by investing in a complimentary 1 hours health and fitness consultation to understand your current level of health and fitness. I then take time to understand your goals; weight loss, tone and cardio fitness, increase muscle mass, beach body fitness, special event such as your wedding day. I will then beginning the process of designing a bespoke training programme, that will set some SMART goals. SMART simple means; S - Specific, M - Measurable, A - Achieveable, R - Realistic, T - Timeframed.

My lifetime passion for keeping fit, led me naturally to retraining for this career, gaining a Level 3 Diploma in Gym Instructing and Personal Training at YMCAfit in London. I love sharing the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle. There is no greater reward than seeing each of my clients moving forward and achieving their indiviual goals.

At 53, I'm an older trainer with old-fashioned communication skills combined with cutting edge personal training expertise. My focus will be on you, and only you throughout your session.

If you’d rather not sign-up to any sort of course and would prefer to work with a personal trainer on a one 2 one basis. The one 2 one personal training option is exactly that! If you’re looking for a motivational boost or perhaps some help with technique and exercise ideas, then this option is designed for you. My fully mobile personal training service can fit around even the most challenging work schedules and family commitments. Train in your home, office, outdoors or in a studio or hall.

Many of us make the decision to start exercising and better managing our diet because we’re not happy, either with the way we look or the way we feel. Most often our weight is the main influencer behind the desire to change. It certainly was for me back in the day. Does this sound like you? Choose from 12, 18, and 24-week personal training programmes. Train at home, your office, the exhilarating outdoors or in the privacy of a private studio.

If you really want to commit to a new improved you, then high intensity interval training will more than hit the spot. This is what got me into the shape I’m in now. I continue to use HIIT as the core of my weekly exercise routine and it’s what drove me to become a personal trainer. This option can be tailored to get you dramatic results if you’re willing to put the work in. Train hard in your home or chose one of the many outdoors locations across Brighton and Hove or in a private studio or hall.

We all know that exercise is good for us, but some people think that with each passing year they should try to do less and take it easy. Wrong! If you’re 60 or above this training programme promotes the 7 recognised benefits of taking up regular exercise: 1. Live longer, 2. Prevent falls, 3. Reduce risk of heart attack or stroke, 4. Better bone density, 5. Reduced risk of dementia, 6. Prevent or delay disease, 7. More confidence and importantly to maintain independent living. Training with a friend or partner is not only a lot of fun but can also be a far more cost-effective way to still have a trainer work with you. The more involved (maximum 4), the cheaper it is for all of you. Tabata style high intensity interval training is ideal for small groups, I’ll combine a series of 8 exercises to deliver a fun, challenging full-body workout. Train outdoors in one of Brighton and Hove’s parks or by the exhilarating beach locations or in a private studio or hall.
