Got an advance quote for our late night trip home, which was very reasonable. Thought we had actually sorted a lift so declined the quote, but on the day our lift fell through so called Ian that afternoon to ask if it was still OK to book for later that night. Despite having called him at an awkward time (he was just on a job trying to load a wheelchair) and asking for extra drop-offs / what that would cost, he was extremely helpful and was able to sort our journey. Booking was an easy process via email to supply our address and sort prepayment by bank transfer (probably a good thing before we'd had too many drinks, lol) and also via text to supply our drivers details (name, car, reg, etc).Our driver arrived in plenty of time - called to let us know he was there and was more than happy to wait for us to finish our last drinks.Would definately recommemd 24/7 Swindon Taxis, and no doubt will be using them again ourselves.Thanks guys. Cant praise them enough. Ian and Mark were the guys we dealt with. They were both really amazing. Mark ensured that the wheelchair and mum were secure and comfortable before he started driving. The vehicle was lovely and clean. I would recommend them to anyone .The good thing is they don't see disabled people as an issue unlike some of the taxi company's. Cant recommend them enough. Thanks to Ian and driver who saved the day at our son’s wedding on Saturday. With 2 hours to spare we realized with horror that we had forgotten to pick up a suit that had been altered for 1 of 3 best men. We were an hour from the shop! Ian worked with the wedding venue and shop to arrange the collection from Great Western Outlet Centre and get it to Owlpen Manor with minutes to spare so that the bride and congregation were unaware of any crisis! Hospital transport that had been prebooked let us down. Within about 10 minutes of phoning 24/7 taxis a wheelchair taxi was on its way. Even though we needed to get to the hospital quickly for the appointment the driver drove very steadily round all the roundabouts making it a comfortable ride. After the appointment the taxi was ready waiting with the ramp down.On our return the driver took the time to wheel Mum right into her property. We needed to get mum, who is almost 100 years old, over to her grandson for Christmas day lunch. I was apprehensive about the wheelchair going into the taxi and imagined a multitude of problems. I couldn't have been more wrong! The driver was brilliant and did everything to make sure mum was comfortable. Our vehicles can accommodate most wheelchairs both manual & electric. There is plenty of room to transport up to 5 passengers as well as the wheelchair.
