Darren has tutored our two daughters over several years to GCSE level. What an investment! Darren is meticulously organised, professional and friendly. He works solidly through the GCSE curriculum (all boards) making sure that students knowledge is solid on topics before moving on; something that the schools don’t have time for. He will expect students to do extra work but it builds slowly depending on what year they start. (The earlier the better, in my opinion). Darren is DBS checked and is happy for you to sit in on the first assessment lesson so you can see how he teaches. Darren has taught our eldest son for the past 2 yrs, we have always found him to be very professional and understanding of our sons ability towards his maths sessions. Over the past 2 years both us and his School have seen a huge improvement in his Maths, so much so he has moved up two grades.
