The Old Staion Yard Cafe can be found on a small industrial estate in Walthamstow, East London. We are known as a traditional breakfast cafe although we serve brunches and traditional English lunches in equal amount. We also serve, vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as cakes, afternoon teas and dishes from Italy.

We serve brunches as well good roast dinners and lunches. We also prepare cakes, celebratory cakes, afteroon teas and canapes.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
The first and most important step is sound effective communication with the client. It is paramount to listen to the client's ideas and requests and to offer suggestions when appropriate.
What do you love most about your job?
Expressions of satisfaction, surprise, pleasure and enjoyment at the table. Food is a form of pleasurable communication. It is worth striving for.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Cooking has been a passion since childhood. My mother was an excellent cook and I have always sought to emulate her. I love going out to eat and whilst living in Italy, I learned a lot about home cooking.
Why should our clients choose you?
I work with passion and to the best of my ability whilst maintaining the client's requirement's at the forefront of my mind. As long as time permits, there is room for negotiation on any changes as long as shopping has been done. Timely and regular communication on both sides is essential.
