About

Modeste London is an interior design studio specialising in bespoke residential interior design for private clients and developers in the UK and abroad. 

We care about creating beautiful spaces to be lived in.  Our aim is to deliver exquisitely crafted rooms that appreciate the tactility of materials, texture and colour.   Modeste London takes a personalised approach to each project, not only through bespoke joinery and a specialised selection of materials, lighting and structural detail but through our ability to translate.  We enjoy working with artisans and adding a quality of hand craftsmanship to architectural space. 

Our creative director, Sheree, studied Interior Architecture (BA Hons) and has a Masters degree in Architecture and Interior Design.  She has worked in architectural, interior and product design offices on projects around the world.  She has exceptional knowledge of joinery and detail and is able to understand more than the surface of interior design.  You should expect something uniquely beautiful from Concept to Completion.  We offer a turn key experience and endeavour to capture beauty in details.

Furniture and Joinery

No space is complete for occupying without furniture.  We provide a service that identifies the most harmonious selection and arrangement of furniture, always keeping in mind your specific desires and requirements.  With an extensive list of furniture suppliers around the world Modeste London are able to procure, coordinate and deliver furniture.  We can arrange all the necessary components for a stress-free experience for our clients to simply open the door and see everything in its beautifully orchestrated place.

Bespoke design and craftmanship is at the heart of Modeste London.  We enjoy providing a personalised approach to joinery development and are able to bring to life any vision.  For many projects this can be a costly addition. However, our carefully planned and collaborative approach to design, our work is sure to add the most optimal value to your space.  We provide samples, a vast array of finishes and prototypes for our clients to truly understand what they are getting before the final product is presented.  Tactility of each surface and a dialogue of form is what we desire to encapsulate with each piece.

Dressing and Lighting

Modeste London provides exquisite objects of curiosity for your interior.  With expert knowledge of market trends, master craftsmen and boutiques, we always aim to deliver exceptional design.  From the smallest item to larger works of art and sculpture we are able to cater to our client’s needs.  Depending on our client’s brief we are able to schedule showroom visits and provide a personalised approach to selecting the perfect ornaments.

Light and shadow are hand in hand.  We love lighting and its application in interior spaces.  Modeste London provide lighting options and work with specialised teams to make the best use of space for your property.  From the smallest table lamp to the most functional fixture, we aim to ensure that each is thought through right down to the click of the switch.
