I had thought Pam was great during the mediation sessions, really fair, professional, understanding. But when writing up the parenting plan a key part for me has been missed despite discussing in mediation and asking for amendments. It’s meant that the plan can’t be signed without more mediation which seems ridiculous when i know it was discussed. (It was a sore point for my ex so definitely wasn’t missed). I was told I can’t submit new information but can remember word for word the conversation. Left me in a difficult situation and I feel I’ve wasted my money despite being happy with the rest of the plan. Despite the response to this review my ex backs me up regarding the conversations had during mediation. I will be happy to update this review when relevant. Update 21/9 I have not heard from Pam since 5/9. She denies information that was mutually agreed previously in mediation as it wasn’t in her “meticulous” notes. The last email offered more mediation at our expense though both parties recall the conversation. As Pam stated in her response I do intend to formally complain. Update. Just to clarify. No amendments were unilaterally added after mediation as BOTH parties agreed it was discussed IN mediation with Pam. Need a mediator for my mediator now. I will also add that when I informed Pam that my ex partner had been made aware that I would not sign till the issue was resolved, Pam sent that entire email to him. She could have just asked him if I’d updated him and what his position on the matter was. Quite unprofessional. If I were to use the current plan, I’d be signing that child maintenance payments will stay the same permanently. The complaint relates to including the deadline for the current reduction as agreed during our last mediation session. More...

My experience with this company has not been good at all, firstly they cancelled our first appointment without even letting me know, then when i asked to rearrange our second appointment via email she refused and stated she would not refund my money, a bit harsh given the fact she cancelled our first appointment with no notice and i gave her 2 hours notice, she uses her terms to avoid her responsibilities and then dosen't respond, before paying her any money read her terms and conditions.

Having had lots of problems with my ex partner, I decided to have my case sorted out using mediation. The service I received was excellent, communication was brilliant and we had a good schedule in place. Our documents were written up quickly. The fees were reasonable for the service provided. I would definitely recommend this company. We were fully informed at each stage of the process. From the first meeting to having three joint meetings, took 2 months. my claim and also given excellent advice through out the process. My original solicitor had messed me around and I felt the correspondence was dragged out and very slow, so I ended that. I am now a happy customer and would highly recommend Pam, they really do go that extra step to help you. More...

My experience with Pamela has not been a positive one, although are initial conversation was positive I've had nothing but problems since, are initial meeting was moved and she didn't even call to rearrange, on the next appointment i gave her notice via email (how we had been contacting) to rearrange as i had an emergency, i then received a call that she didn't read her email and wouldn't conduct the meeting nor would give me my money back and tried to use her terms as a reason, what she didn't know is that i run my own business and know about unfair terms, I've sent her emails but have had no response what so ever, i would avoid as if you ever have any issues i doubt they would be resolved and she will go missing.

Thank you for your review. Our cancellation policy is clearly stated in our terms and conditions of business and also stated on our website. All clients are provided with this information in advance to confirmation of a meeting and prior to payment. A cancellation policy is standard practice and not unreasonable or an unfair term. Daniel Morgan chose to cancel our meeting by email, 2 hours prior to the scheduled meeting. As a rule, I do not read emails whilst I am driving en route to the meeting and would not expect this from others due to safety and the law. A telephone call would obviously be the most efficient way to make contact if there was an emergency, rather than learning that the other party had no intention of attending the meeting upon arrival. Pam Hatfield Associates Ltd have been established since 2007 and receives excellent reviews from many satisfied clients. I would recommend that any potential clients who are looking for a professional mediation service, to conduct their own due diligence and are welcome to contact us or to speak directly to clients who are happy to personally provide a recommendation.
