I contacted Jane from Jakara at a very difficult moment in my family's life having just lost our father suddenly and needing to move my Mum into a smaller flat at short notice. Despite being very busy and fully booked Jane worked over the week ends and bank holiday to assist and took all the pressure away designing the interior, organizing the contractors and purchasing the fixtures and fittings. Jane was supportive, responsive, met our brief and budget. Jakara design has created a beautiful space and everyone who visits my Mums flat comments on how beautiful it is. What do you love most about your job?
The best feeling for me is handing over a completely transformed space to my client and seeing the delighted client's beautiful reaction. It's always such a joy!
What inspired you to start your own business?
As I love creating beautiful spaces for myself and friends and family to enjoy, I felt I wanted to offer those feelings to a wider audience. I always used to buy ornaments as a child, constantly with a desire to make a space look and feel loved. I realised I have a keen eye for detail and that the spaces I create are very much enjoyed and desired, therefore it became my calling :o)

I really do pour my heart and soul into your design as I'm so passionate about handing over a beautiful space for you to fall in love with, almost as if it was my own.
