Found on a comparison site for removal companies. Requested a quote, was called within 30 minutes. Advised to have a video call to assess how many vans I needed, this was done the same day. Asked for a deposit 10 minutes following the video call after agreeing with the quote. Heard nothing for a week at which point I thought I'd been scammed then had a courtesy call asking if still good for the date booked, I said yes and offered to pay remaining balance there and then they said to wait until a few days before the date. Was called a few days before the move date to confirm details and to pay remaining balance. Was told they would arrive at 8am, didn't arrive until 9am. 3 vans with 4 men. They all introduced themselves and shook my hand. I showed them what I had and they did everything, I didn't have to lift 1 box. Very efficient, very friendly, nothing was too much trouble despite it pouring with rain. Once all was done we went through together to check I was happy everything was in the right place and there was no damage. After each truck was empty I was asked to check it to confirm there was nothing still remaining. Fantastic sevice. Used this company for a move from Surrey to South Wales. We packed everything and on the morning the vans arrived on time and everything was packed carefully and securely in under 2 hours. Intercity removals provided a competitive quote conducted via video call and offered different options and a choice of vans. I have now used the services of Intercity Removals twice in a month. Firstly for a house move and secondly for additional furniture move from another property. On both occasions I have found the staff to be extremely friendly, professional and helpful. I'm sorry I didn't take the names of the staff that helped me out the first occasion. However, on the second occasion both Loan & Elisei were fantastic. It is also worth mentioning that Grace had handled all my queries promptly, professionally and with a great sense of humour. I really would like to thank Intercity Removals for such a great service and would definitely recommend them to family and friends. Updated 2024: Moved again with Intercity last week. Tom offers an exceptionally high level of customer service, with nothing being too much trouble! All the guys that moved us over 2 days were all very friendly, careful with everything and quick. They had problems with vans the second day which meant the move had to done in relays; there and back (2 hour round trip) 3 times! Meant a very long day (9am til 8.30pm) but the guys worked tirelessly and without complaint all day. In an ideal world other vans should have been found and we’d have had the move completed in half the time but if this wasn’t possible then fair play to Branimir, Pawel, Jaydan for doing such a great job! Very professional and efficient moving company. I was able to do a video consultation and they helped me establish how many boxes and vans I would need. They were reassuring throughout that I would be provided with enough boxes (I paid for packing service too). On the day, the movers arrived promptly at 7am to start packing. They wrapped all the items carefully and loaded into the van efficiently. My building was quite awkward but they were understanding about negotiating the stairs and dismantling large pieces that wouldn't fit. I moved from West Wales to Scotland, so I met the movers at my new place the following morning, again prompt at 7am and they unloaded the vans quickly, making sure all of the boxes were in the right rooms and reassembling the furniture. My experience of Intercity Removals was top notch. Received an easy quote via a video call, and quick to book in our dates at quite short notice. All communication from the office was excellent with a friendly voice on the phone. Team on the day (Tristan, Robert, Puiu, Nicu) were a great bunch- on time, polite, conscientious and quick workers who carried out our move with no fuss and took most of the stress out of our moving day! Not only providing us with the most competitive quote, they were prepared to travel up from South Wales to West Cumbria, and then move us down to Somerset. I couldn't be more pleased with the team at Intercity. Tristan, Marius, Cristian, Nathan, Hussain, Auruah were absolutely amazing. We had a more 'interesting' moving situation where the existing contents were still present and we had to move around them. The team were incredible in helping us to navigate this very tricky move. The entrance was also pretty formidable (a lot of steps and a very narrow steep drive. Nothing phased them and they got to work so efficiently and quickly. They were all so friendly and helpful. We used Intercity Removals for our recent house move from Cardiff to London and the service was absolutely fantastic. David, Chris and Sebastian were prompt, professional and hugely entertaining on the day, bringing some light and joy to what otherwise could have been a difficult day. We had an extra stop in Cardiff to pick up some extra items, and also split the delivery to the house in London and a storage unit and the guys were incredibly efficient and kind during this process, going above and beyond what we were expecting. In the past we have also used delivery companies which are very stringent on particular box sizes, amounts, timings etc and there was absolutely none of this from Intercity, which definitely reduced potential stress on the day. Overall couldn't be happier and would definitely be using Intercity in the future. Had a quote in October, due to delays in purchase it took until April to actually move house. During that time the team was friendly and patiently waited, quote did not change. Intercity removals kindly penciled in the date in for us and waited until very short notice, when we confirmed the move day. On the move day Stuart, Marius and George arrived promptly on time, vans were loaded in about an hour, they kindly packed fragile items and loaded very quickly, safely and efficiently. It was a very long day with nearly 500 mile round trip done in one day with loading and unloading, and I am really grateful for the help received to pack, load, unload furniture and boxes into rooms as we required. Really glad I used Intercity Removals and would definitely use again, as I can trust this company to do what they promise and their staff is really hard working. We are very happy with Intercity Removals services. From the first contact till completion of the move, everybody involved from Intercity demonstrated professionalism and great working ethos. The first communication was through WhatsApp video call where a specialist (Adrian) reviewed all items we have to move and provided an accurate and detailed quote. Prior to the move date we received updates on the expected times lot, confirmation of items (we were able to make changes on the fly and as long as it did not increase the total cubic meters needed in the truck we did not get any unpleasant surprises!). Thanks to both Anna and Adrian for the amazing communication via phone/email. On the day of the move we received a call from the movers team ~20 mins before they arrived, a team of three people (Christian, Nico and George) managed the whole move flawlessly. They were extremely respectful, careful with all items, great communication with us, confirming where each item goes. Took pictures of all items, flagged out any loose screws or anything we should be aware and managed to move all furniture out of the flat within less than 1hr and in the truck. What really amazed me was well packed was the truck, all "sensitive" bits (like mattress and linen sofa) were put in protective soft cases, any fragile bits (like mirrors, glasses) were wrapped in bubblewrap, and the wardrobe (disassembled) was carefully wrapped in soft material, added cardboard sheets in between to avoid scratches and got tied inside the truck. Watching the team putting everything in their truck was like looking at professional Tetris players putting every item to the right place!!! Again, on the destination Christian, Nico and George ensured all furniture goes to the right room, were careful of the house, door frame, stairs etc and did not make a scratch anywhere!!! They arrived at 10.30 in the morning and by 13.00 everything was done (with 1hr+ commute distance). Highly recommend the team for any removals/move needs More...

Intercity Removals were fantastic when I moved house this month. I was at the top of the sales chain and my moving date kept changing until the final week; despite this Intercity were able to work around this, one less thing for me to worry about. I had to move the contents of my house to two different locations, the guys understood what needed to be done (at times better than I did!). I boxed up my belongings and needed help with big furniture and beds etc. Everything was moved quickly and my often poor packing was taken care of as well as bubble wrapping or boxing (alot of) delicate items or bits and bobs that I had missed .
