Absolutely brilliant experience with Mark from start to finish for our wedding at Ash Barton. The zoom chat was a really nice way to get to know each other and we appreciated the preference form which made us work out what we actually wanted! On the day Mark and Tristan were fab... friendly and relaxed whilst also being complete pros! We didn't want photos to be a big thing on the day, and they both just melted into the day perfectly whilst still capturing everything... just perfect for our relaxed wedding. Communication was great throughout, the turnaround on the photos was really fast, and having a second photographer meant that all special moments were captured from two perspectives which actually made a big difference. Mark is an incredible photographer, and my wife and I are delighted with his work shooting our wedding day. One of the first things that drew me to Evolve Photography was being able to send a text message stating the date of our wedding and receiving a simple 'yes, I'm available that day' within 2 minutes. We’d heard about Evolve Photography through our wedding venue and decided to book as Mark knows our venue very well, having been there many times. Having not heard of Evolve before, I was slightly skeptical as all our other friends had a different photographer for their weddings, however going with Mark was absolutely the best decision we could have made. Mark made us feel at ease throughout the whole day, which we are very grateful for, even during the chaos of myself getting ready. We feel so lucky to look through our photos and relive each moment, even the little moments we forgot about ourselves! Mark did this all whilst staying behind the scenes - often my guests said they didn’t notice he was there and talked very highly of him. A few of them emailed constantly and didn't give me room to breath and look through pictures of their work. Mark was great from the start handing over his bio and lots of photos he had taken at my venue. Where to begin? Mark was incredible from start to finish. He knew exactly what we needed. I honestly cannot believe the amount of beautiful moments he captured, including those I hadn't even realised were happening- as we barely realised he was there at times. Our meeting beforehand allowed him to learn about us and our requirements for the day. During the sunset, he knew the exact moment that the sun would pierce through the clouds, the pictures are stunning. How could we not give Mark 5 stars?! He was brilliant from booking onwards including sending over questionnaires to complete and a zoom call a few days before the wedding to discuss our preferences/requirements! We could tell by Marks portfolio he was very experienced/talented and would create beautiful pictures but we were in awe of our pictures when we received them and could see he had been able to capture exactly what we’d asked for! The best photographer we could have ever asked for! Not only is Mark so talented but he is such a lovely person and really cares about you having the perfect wedding day. My husband is a keen photographer himself and was impressed by Mark’s eye for a good photograph opportunity. From our initial phone call with Mark, we could see how professional and passionate he was about his job and booked him straight away. Mark has a calm yet guiding approach, which not only made us feel at ease but made the day even better and we couldn't have been in better company. He even picked up on the small things including spotting my husbands unopened card (this meant a lot as it had a message in for my husband to read before we got married). We had organised smaller items to be photographed but when it came to the day everything was moved around and separated but Mark was amazing at finding and photographing the small details. It was these small touches that just showed how thoughtful Mark is. Mark set up a planning meeting and we arranged which photos we would like taken on the day, he was very organised and it meant the day went so smoothly. Any extra photos we decided we wanted on the day was no trouble for Mark at all. Mark stayed all day from us getting ready up until us partying the night away, it was a long day for him which we really appreciated. Marks prices are very competitive, he was the most reasonably priced photographer we found, yet his work is incredible! We received our wedding photos at the airport as we were about to set off on our honeymoon, only 3 days after the wedding! When we returned home there was a beautifully packaged USB waiting for us with all the images. There were over 1000 of them and we loved each and every one of them. We are now finding it hard to choose which ones to print. All of our friends and family commented on how amazing Mark was, you didn’t even notice he was there when we were socialising, so we are amazed looking back on all the amazing small moments he caught on camera. We loved the dedication you provided, getting as much out of a grey autumnal day outside, even trekking down the long driveway of Rockbeare Manor to get those beautiful autumnal shots! Mark is an absolute gem. We picked mark as our wedding photographer and he was genuinely such a lovely person, really wanted to get to know us as people, and his work speaks for itself! He’s incredible. He captured 850 pictures for us and I really wanted a mix of posed pictures as well as natural photos and he did not disappoint. He made the day so easy and really was fuss free. We had a zoom meeting a couple of days before the wedding which was really helpful so on the day he knew exactly what we wanted and didn’t need to run through anything with us, he just turned up and started clicking away! Mark even stayed a whole extra hour without me even realising just to capture our first dance. I couldn’t thank him enough because they really were some of the most beautiful photos. I requested to go into the woods on the site where were getting married and this was December so it was freezing cold but he was all for it and still managed to keep a smile on his face through the whole thing. He even waited whilst I drank a cup of tea in the middle of the woods to warm up! He was so easy to get on with and multiple people throughout the day came up to me and said what a lovely man he was. When you book Mark, you’re not just booking a photographer; you’ll come to realise you’re actually just inviting another guest. Having worked in the wedding industry for a few years, Catherine already knew of Mark and had seen lots of his fantastic work. It was, therefore, a no brainer when we were planning our wedding that we wanted Mark to be the one to capture our special day. We were absolutely over the moon when our date was his last one available in 2023 (testament to how amazing he is). From the moment we booked him, Mark was brilliant, helping us to find a videographer, always replying quickly to communication and generally just being one of those suppliers that we knew we didn’t need to worry about. On the day, we barely even noticed Mark was there, he blended in like one of the guests to the point we didn’t even realise he was still there when he came to say bye. He got through the formal photos really quickly and made our couple photos fun. Then comes the super speedy editing!!! We received nearly 900 photos back within 6 days of our wedding!! Mark was our photographer for our big day at tunnels beaches. We saw Marks work on social media and straight away knew we had to have him capture our special day. We would recommend Mark to anybody looking for a reliable, easygoing, simply amazing photographer. Mark is a really top professional photographer and we would highly recommend commissioning him if you are having a wedding. Prior to our wedding he had excellent communication with us and really understood what we wanted for our photographs and what photographs they are, over 1800 of them! Mark was absolutely fantastic and we are so happy we decided to use his services. He introduced himself by telling us a lot about him and his history, followed up with a phone call and we really felt we got to know him and liked him instantly. The introduction and speaking with him really sold it for us- a really lovely person just what we wanted for our wedding. His prices are affordable and he also recommended a videographer Tristan as they work together sometimes, this came as a deal and we were also really happy with Tristan. On the day we hardly noticed he was there except when we were in the limelight! He made us feel comfortable and went out of his way to see the venue beforehand and check out local areas for photo opportunities. It didn’t take long to receive a very large preview of our photos and he kept us updated on when to expect the rest. My wife and I got married at the end of July and we couldn't recommend Mark more highly. He took the time to get to know us in the lead up to the wedding, and made sure he understood what we wanted to get from the day in terms of the photography. On the day he was really friendly and fit right in with all of our guests. In the nicest way possible I often didn't even notice him taking the photos! He made us feel really at ease when taking the photos, and whisked us off to get some beautiful private photos on the day, but made sure we weren't missed by our guests for too long. He even grabbed us for some gorgeous sunset photos in the nick of time right when the weather cleared. We honestly feel so lucky to have had Mark as our photographer for our wedding. He is very kind and has a warm personality, but is also very professional and knowledgeable, his experience shone through and he fit into our day perfectly!
