Looks like I'm towards the other end of the age spectrum from a lot of the other reviews here, but I had to give Nikki huge praise for her amazing DJ-ing at my recent 60th birthday party at Great Fosters. She performed all her roles superbly, from simply playing my initial playlist to hosting the karaoke, which was hugely enjoyed by everyone, to organising requests and just playing some great music that perfectly matched the crowd and mood.Very reasonably priced, she is highly recommended for grown up parties as well as the younger ones! Nikki was absolutely brilliant for my son's 5th birthday party! She kept all the children entertained by playing lots of games and kept them all dancing to their favourite songs. Wow, well, what can I say? I’m slightly speechless, and I’ve only just recovered from the weekend. I mean this wholeheartedly when I say, Nikki was the life and soul of my 40th party at the weekend. She MADE the party, without her DJing and effortless mixing; the party would not have been what it was. Nikki has hosted both of my daughters’ birthday parties before and is so much fun, that I didn’t hesitate twice when it came to needing a DJ for my 40th birthday party. I knew I needed someone who was both good at children’s parties and adult parties and Nikki is incredible. She always brings the fun, energy and life to a party. I had a specific idea of what I wanted for the party. We started early at 6 pm and had a hour and a half kiddies party first. During this time Nikki played party music for the children did balloon modelling. They also played a game with modelling putty and had to create something in order to win a competition. My youngest daughter won and received a little trophy (which she has actually placed by her bedside table)! It made her evening! She kept them entertained and that first hour and a half flew by and before we knew it we had to say goodbye to the children - they had had an absolute blast. Nikki also gave them glow sticks and created a personalised party bag for them each to take away with them. We then continued into the night with the adults! I have quite a random collection of music that I love listening to, and so I made a playlist on Spotify which I sent to Nikki a month or so ago, she looked over this and then created a playlist for the evening and mixed it all up. Every single person at the party commented on what an incredible Dj Nikki was. Even the venue has taken her number in the hope that she’ll come back and do some nights there! Two days later on my feet are still absolutely killing from jumping up and down and dancing. People didn’t leave the dancefloor all night. That’s how good the music was. She gauged the room perfectly and when the food came out and people were arriving, there was more chilled out music, and by the end of the evening we were jumping up and down and raving away. She played a mixture of pop garage drum and bass R&B old school tunes and completely catered it to my taste whilst also taking requests from the guests. I can’t thank you enough Nikki. I’m now trying to find an excuse to hold another party, just so I can have you DJing again. 🤣🤣 Is it too early to start planning my 50th? More...

We had an amazing experience with Nikki from NikNak Events for my son’s 10th birthday Fortnite-themed party! Nikki was absolutely brilliant - the children were engaged and excited from start to finish, and the party was truly unforgettable. The games were perfectly suited to the children’s age group, and Nikki’s knowledge of all the latest Fortnite trends made everything so relevant and fun. We just had our Hurricanes Dragon Boat club Christmas party and wanted to find a DJ that not only did the music, but also could provide Karaoke…. Nikki was fantastic. I’d given her a brief as to what was required, including musical chairs and everything went according to plan. Noone to worry about what music to play or someone having to sort out the Karaoke section. Nikki just took control of everything. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and commented on how brilliant she was and have already had a request that we get her again for next years party. Such a great party! My 9 year old son had the VERY BEST time at his birthday party, he couldn’t stop smiling the whole time ☺️ The set up looked fab, the music was perfect (my son really LOVED it) and Nikki was just wonderful with all of the children. Nikki did a mini disco for our daughter’s 4th birthday and it was excellent!!! The kids loved it so much and the parents had a good old boogie too! From a parent perspective, It was really nice not to have to worry about entertaining the kids as Nikki’s tunes and games were exactly what they wanted and it took the pressure off us. WOW what can I say! I was super impressed with DJ NikNak, would 100% recommend and had parents and family asking me how to book her. She was amazing with the kids, came early to set up, worked so hard during 3 hours and it was a really hot day! Nothing was too much trouble, made some great balloon swords and made my birthday boy feel like the king of the party! All the kids had to much fun and she kept them fully engaged the whole time. We hired DJ NikNak (Nikki) and her partner Sophie on the Sax (Disco and Sax) for our daughter’s 40th birthday. And we weren’t disappointed! AMAZING 🤩. We sent over a few requests so that they could have a feel for the “vibe” that we wanted and they got it spot on. Booked Nikki to DJ our wedding. We provided our first dance alongside an idea of tunes, pointing to a playlist my partner and I had made for a recent party. Nikki liaised directly with our venue to confirm setup times, parking, PAT certification… and we just knew she’d turn up and deliver a great set. Nikki smashed our expectations: every decision she made was brilliant. And managing our guest requests was also handled with professionalism. Of course the guest engagement over the mic was fab.
